Thanks for this helpful video, @JunkAutoWerks! Quick question....can I swap out my instrument cluster that does NOT have a tachometer/RPM gauge with an instrument cluster that DOES have an RPM gauge easily? I would likely swap out the speedo/PSOM to retain my mileage, but would love to add tach info. Thanks again!
I actually just did this! I have a 94 F150 XL with the base model gauges with no Tach, I managed to find a new gage cluster out of an XLT F150 of the Same year and swapped it in, I kept my old PSOM and everything works great! I love having an RPM gauge, But remember it has to correlate with the correct years (92-93 , 94-95 , 96) because the pin out can be different depending
I have a bad printed circuit. Went to replace a bulb and now half cluster doesn't work. How do you remove the printed circuit? Remove everything and then bulbs and it should come off?
I’d like to add a correction, There are 10 screws holding on the plastic covers not 9
ThxQ about the year correlation
