Hi Neil. I'm a big fan of the trudex but it's fair to say that the Richard Carter has pride of place. Despite been a low number (6) reel, I'm not sure that mine would command mega money as Richard only allowed me to have it on the proviso that I used it to fish with (rather than a display piece) and it's barely been off the rod in the 15yrs or so that I've had it and carries more than its fair share of battle scars!

You're right about the empty lake, although I was contending with a dozen ducks, a family of geese, 4 gulls and some gangster squirrels!
