It's more of a personal conviction for Antiochian/OCA/Greek but in Russian parishes it's rude to enter the service without a scarf. Like in Greece, women and men tourists are asked to be respectful when entering a church or monastery by dressing appropriately (men, long sleeved shirts and long pants, women skirts past the knee and no sleeveless shirts, short sleeved are ok).
Loved how you quoted the passages from Bible about head covering. As a Muslim woman too, covering my head is a religious requirement ordained by God in the Qur'an! So I choose to follow it :) Did u know that the basic dressing requirement for a Muslim is also to dress modestly? I LOVED that aspect in your video too! I do like wearing a t-shirt and a dress on top of that, plus cover my head ❤. Wondering how many more things we'd have in common!

Great vids, Adina! I love watching them. You hit a lot of sensitive issues head on, might need your dad to explain them more in detail...but they can come and find out themselves. The explanation on money is going to mislead a lot of people that think you don't have a common purse anymore. Instead you have a common purse with an allowance that's withheld if you don't work. Big difference. One more thing, your head covering is more then a symbol, but an actual tangible covering. If it's a symbol, then a 1x1 inch fabric would be sufficient, since its more then a symbol, you cover your glory (hair)

As to what you explained about your relationship with other Hutterite groups I had more or less figured that out without even knowing your history. Don't let that stop you. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to go to College but don't let your Faith stop you. So how can you "cover a covering"? That's why we ladies should not cut our hair. When we cut our hair to shoulder length or any length, that's when it is a disgrace and it is good as being completely bald (shoven) according to the bible. And, that is when you need a scarf. Wonderful video! Adina there are LOTS of young religious, (Christian, Muslim, Jewish and more) people in college. There is definitely a place in College for people who follow a Faith. Don't let that stop you. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to go to College but don't let your Faith stop you. Besides, College is a wonderful place to learn about other Faiths and to expose others to your Faith. A beautiful thing! Have a wonderful day.

@@trueyokefellow3576 hi sis, thanks for your opinion but God is not an author of confusion. If you read 1 Corinthians 11 verse 15, it clearly states that your long hair is given as covering. So how can you "cover a covering"?
That's why we ladies should not cut our hair. When we cut our hair to shoulder length or any length, that's when it is a disgrace and it is good as being completely bald (shoven) according to the bible. And, that is when you need a scarf.
In conclusion, our hair is given as a covering, so don't cut or cover your covering (long hair).
