The mum could get a job. Kids could have cereal for breakfast, make their own lunch, do their own washing, and she could just make dinner - or there are 7 adults in the house they could all just make dinner one night each.
All that child want is to be shown love and have some quality time. But parents that expect there children to maintain the family home like unpaid servants need to rethink there lives.
Marilyn Mazzotta ... I think the nay-Sayers are likely young, self-absorbed and selfish people who don't believe in kids learning anything but to be just as egocentric as themselves. They might be in the top 1% financially, perhaps, and thus genuinely never had to work for anything.
My dad says being part of the family means to help, the parents can’t do everything thats why kids should help, they’re not slaves, the dad isn’t whipping them or putting them in servant cottages. And all you’re seeing is them teaching these teens how to act, its not a show about how much love that dad gives to his kids, thats why you’re not seeing him give any love.
It honestly shocks me that some teenagers are like this... Sure I give my mum an attitude but I know my limits, I wouldn’t dare disrespect anyone like that.
I’m a stay at home mommy of two which I love and feel very blessed to be able to be a homemaker. It’s a real horrible feeling when people view women like me as lazy; it takes a lot to run a home, contribute to our community and be an active member of our church.
okay, let's start. there is a time in the lives of teenagers that they might not get along with their parents, they might fight and that is okay. this is normal. teenagers try to find themselves again because they are not kids anymore. they used to depend on their parents to do things for them, but now they have to be independable and that is really hard. so on one hand, it is okay to show them how to do things because they need a good role model to teach them things, either their parents or in this case the strict parents. But sometimes it is also okay when you let the teenagers relax and be with themselves even for a few moments. what i did not like is that instead of the parents to work and provide food and whatever in the house, they made the children work with them at 4 in the morning. if someone woke up at 4 how can this person concentrate well at school and do well?? + the mother did not have to cook sooo many times. my mom cooks the night before dinner and we eat something quick for breakfast. So, in the end most of the things were just too much for me to believe. I would like to say that this is my opinion, i study psychology and i know things about teenagers and development. unicorn love!!
I get up at 4 all the time to get ready for work for 7 in the morning this is just basic being an adult you make your food get dressed shower. I feed my hedgehog and do some work around the house before I go to work. By the way if your a Baker you can wake up before 4 because you work at 4 in the morning.
And that house mom list of chores was a joke. She creates that work for herself out of boredom. Probably stuck everything shes been procrastinating on that list to fluff it out.
,, i wouldnt have a good attitude either if i was forced to clean public toilets in an office at 4am in the morning, then being forced to go outside in the cold at 6am as punishment for swearing instead of eating breakfast. i think this dad needs to realise raising your kids like this isnt healthy. forcing them to wake up at 4am to help you do YOUR job (especially on a school day) isnt healthy. forcing them to saw wood as punishment instead of having breakfast isnt healthy. what this will teach the kids is that its okay to get other people to do their labour, and that its okay to give them unnecessary punishment for something so small as a swear word. i really hope people dont take this episode as a parenting lesson.
All the kids are pretty much adults. Does she really still need to be a stay at home mother. Surely if her kids are so hardworking and capable, they could make their own breakfast, lunch, do their own washing. There are 7 adults in the house, cooking one meal each and one or two household chores za week would be more practical than working at four in the morning
Karly Kimura Where did you see 7 adults in that house? There's the mom and dad and five kids between de ages of 16 and 9, the other kids the adult ones are clearly not living at home. And there's no way that house is going to run with the kids doing 1 or 2 chores a week, specially considering they live in the freaking desert, the amount of dust alone it's scary. And honestly waking your kids at 4 am it's not so weird, it's not about when you wake up, it's how many hours did you sleep, they just have to go to bed early. I have a lot of family members who wake their own kids, way younger than that, at that hour just to get them ready for school in time before they go to work themselves, and they have a lot less kids.
@@gabyp8788 Im sure a 9yr old can make there own breakfast, lunch, do their own washing. Everyone in that house is old enough to look after themselves, my point is a good majority of the tasks she fills her day with, the kids could do themselves.

I really disagree because I think kids should go to work with their parents and participate in what their parents do. Doing that kids learn the value of a 💵, especially, the entitled ones. I think having children go through that experience teenagers in particular ; They will gain work ethic for the rest of their lives. Kids may resent you when they are young because they may not understand what you are trying to teach them. When they get into the real world , as they progress in their careers because of work ethic that you instilled in them they will be thankful
@@angrysportfan they've got all their adult life to work Kids should be kids while they're kids. Not little slaves. And it won't necessarily give them work ethic. They could still grow up to be lazy good for nothing's due to being made to work so hard as children. As soon as they're adults & can make their own decisions they could easily think nah fuck that 🤷♀️
If the dad can't support his family, then he needs a better job and/or mom needs to get a job too. Not the kids responsibility at such a young age. And that mother, OMG, cooking and cleaning and caring for your family is what comes with having a family. It's not 'work'! There are moms out there doing everything by themselves and clearly doing a better job than these parents
Why should the Mom do everything, and then have kids who don't know how to cook, clean, and take on responsibility. I bet those kids in this video all get great grades at school, and all will be successful adults. We had our kids, learn how to cook, and clean by the age of 11. They are all now extremely successful, and they did that through hard work.
Shandre Stevens lol, says a person who probably doesn’t know how to cook anything else then egg, clean a toilet, doesn’t work. These parents have 12 children total and 5 living with them. They live in a huge house, so I think working isn’t that bad. Later in live with an attitude like that, you can’t even take care of one lol
Their was a look of horror in marks eyes when his ‘dad’said his name was killer He must have taken a lot a lot of time to pluck up the courage to runaway 🚪😀💖👌
The kids don’t need cooked meal every meal. I’m a 17 yr old and I eat cereal and then a sandwich and most days kids over the age of twelve they could cook pasta or some basic chores if their mom is busy working
Yeah but cooked meals are fuckin delicious. If I could have three cooked meals a day I would. But college is a thing unfortunately and very time restrictive.
I'm just kinda... shocked that they don't talk about body parts as a house rule. Reminds me of the satire of EM Forster's A Room With A View where they had to say the letter S because it was rude to say stomach. That book was written over 100 years ago and even then it included people saying the letter S instead of stomach to make a point of how stupid it was to do that and to emphasise that that was an outdated and old-fashioned thing to do.
Watch the whole video, did not once hear the boy being threaten, just the father sharing when he was young they called him killer. Also seeing the father placing boundaries on things. By the way, nickname is one word.
are you kidding? Mark literally runs away and doesn't get punished. but Ariel swears and gets punished for it!?????? in what way is that fair at all?????
For me, it's more important to stay home and take care of my children and make them grow up right instead of working normally and earn money. Yes, letting your kids do a lot of work and wake them up at 4 every morning, a very good way to make them grow up in a good way.

The host family were the ones who decided to have so many children, so if you don't want so much housework to do don't have so many children if any. I've never agreed with children being made to do housework either, because last time I checked they were children not parents and are probably tired out after the programming I mean education system known as school and have to do homework on top of that. It's one thing if the children choose or offer to help, but quite another if the parents or whoever is supposed to be looking after them to expect the children to do that stuff automatically.

especially, the entitled ones. I think having children go through that experience teenagers in particular ; They will gain work ethic for the rest of their lives. Kids may resent you when they are young because they may not understand what you are trying to teach them. When they get into the real world , as they progress in their careers because of work ethic that you instilled in them they will be thankful
@@angrysportfan they've got all their adult life to work
Kids should be kids while they're kids. Not little slaves.
And it won't necessarily give them work ethic.
They could still grow up to be lazy good for nothing's due to being made to work so hard as children.
As soon as they're adults & can make their own decisions they could easily think nah fuck that 🤷♀️
19:38 “when I get older I’ll hire a maid” oh yeah sorry honey, smokes and parties don’t pay for maid service, hate to break it to ya
Mark looks like a 6 grader 😂
28:04 I know this is besides the point, but that background music 😩😩
10:43 he wanted to cry, we all know the feeling of getting scolded and holding back tears lmaoo
[this is a joke, dont take it to srsly]
Ariels Mom is weak minded. Can't even set boundaries
There should be a law that says you can’t have loads of kids just to treat them like slaves, make them do your job and work for you
spehammond or that you can’t have lots of kids full stop (period)!!
Sam Winchester but they are treated like them tho
They live in radiator springs...
Shandre Stevens thanks. I am a single mum and cook, clean and I also work 4 days at work.
Shandre Stevens later in life I will be the taking care of my parents anyway, why no help them now? Lolololl
Shandre Stevens uh. Yes. Cooking and cleaning IS work you ungrateful tart.
Mark's father , auch his reaction when they came to pick him back home... sitting on the cauch ,he was deeply touched, fathers tears of happiness.
Dad says to mark: your very clever.
Mark 20 mins before: I don’t know how to use a can opener. 😂😂
The parents are literally crazy
Their was a look of horror in marks eyes when his ‘dad’said his name was killer
He must have taken a lot a lot of time to pluck up the courage to runaway
🚪😀💖👌
The kids don’t need cooked meal every meal.
I’m a 17 yr old and I eat cereal and then a sandwich and most days kids over the age of twelve they could cook pasta or some basic chores if their mom is busy working
Yeah but cooked meals are fuckin delicious. If I could have three cooked meals a day I would. But college is a thing unfortunately and very time restrictive.
Bro wtf I'm in 5th grade and I can cook Eggs AND they be good 👌👌
I wish I can find just one episode with out them actually changing
“ if they don’t have the happy feeling like we have here” bruh ur kids are depressed cause they have to wake up at 4 to work so they can eat
These kind of parents don't believe in fun 😌🥺👌
That parrent is threatning to kill the Boy. My Nick name is kill
I literally love Ariel for some reason😂 she’s just ace I love her attitude it’s funny😂
You're immature, eh? I appreciate that adolescence is a messed up time - I lived through it as an autistic - but I don't like disrespect because I learned it doesn't get you anywhere!
Let's be honest, the guy was just trying his best to impress the girl, he was nearly crying when the dad said he was called killer 😂😂😂
"i'm not supposed to clean toilets, or cut wood or any of that shit, i'm a girl" *proceeds to say it's unfair that the mom doesn't help with the work*
World's strictest parents.....more like the world's biggest family.
Hahahahhahahahhahahhah I'm so funny
Sorry everyone reading this
Btw I know it's not the biggest family
Have a nice day
I'm bored......
Ok bye

31:05 is someone pulling a string attached to his eyebrow or...
That girl has a major problem I can do everything she said a girl isn't supposed to do
He wakes up his 11 year old kid at 4am to clean toilets? I mean, is his help really that necessary? Especially if he has school after
Mark is a nightmare child. Good grief, what made him so combative?
crazy how that woman pushed that many slaves out.
Im troubled why they let their children treat them like that... if we were acting like the way they do,,omg!!!! We are long gone, kicked out! They let them grow up like that i mean just slap them straight to the mouth from day 1. Ugh they piss me off.
😂😂😂💯💯💯💯
If I spoke to my mother like that I'd get a slipper across the head
Iv bin kicked out once and im 14 soo yea and that was like 2 3 month ago
Berna Sagcal welcome to the 2010’s
Berna Sagcal they should let them have a break or 2 they are not slaves they are humans
I like how they interviewed mark's dad infront of tools and his mum infront of a china cabinet and dishes. 🙃🙄
Waking up at 4am... on of my friends didn’t even go to sleep until 5am this morning
I've gone to sleep at 7am lmao
starry roses literally most teens pull all-nighters skksks
Mark called the house a tiny space. The place is enormous!
Has there ever been a episode where the two teens hook up ? I would crack up if there was
That’s happened many times
It is not right to have this many children, if you can not earn money enough 😡
No child should wake up at 4 to work, before School
The host family were the ones who decided to have so many children, so if you don't want so much housework to do don't have so many children if any. I've never agreed with children being made to do housework either, because last time I checked they were children not parents and are probably tired out after the programming I mean education system known as school and have to do homework on top of that. It's one thing if the children choose or offer to help, but quite another if the parents or whoever is supposed to be looking after them to expect the children to do that stuff automatically.
It's called teaching your kids responsibility
There’s so many pumpkins around the place, its like happy thanksgiving, it’s definitely fall. I’m into pumpkins, I wonder if they grow their own
The Call family have/had a very beautiful house!
Mark looks and sounds permanently stoned😂🤦♂️
Dad “we can go inside and get nice hot biscutes”
Girl “ THEYRE NOT GONNA BE HOT WHEN WE GO INSIDE!”
😝 I love this 🍪
These kids are angels compare to my son at 14years old he was smoking pot, drinking alcohol, runaway from home, getting arrested. He’s 17 and half now. He went back to Tafe last year and also started an apprenticeship in butcher and works in a butcher shop. He started at 13. But stopped being a rebel at 16yrs. You just need show them you will always be there but put your foot down and tell them what they don’t want hear. The police have a youth police officers that help which is great. They should have pcyc(police community youth centre) they helped tremendously.
Allison McDonald these kids are the most tame on this show. Most times they’re smoking and drinking and also stealing and vandalizing.
Your like 20 so unless u had a kid at 3 that isn’t possible
Peter Roberts thanks your my favourite. I’m 36years old but thanks. Honestly I have 3 kids check out my FB. That’s not me in my profile pic. That’s Bloody Mary I got it from LiveScifi. I asked Tim if I could use it.
