I think that keeping "that thing" private was the most respectful thing you could do towards the other person. Many content creators could have used it to get more views, once again you’re proving your worth as a person. Loved your content as always, keep it up 💚✨
I don’t blame you for beating around the bush and keeping things private. Relationships (platonic or otherwise) are hard enough without a world audience. From someone who also felt like a “cold” person most her life, I will never forget how it felt the first time I fell for someone. Sharing those feelings with someone and opening up a part of yourself you didn’t know existed is such a beautiful thing and it’s been very heartwarming watching you processing your new emotions. I wish you the best and never feel ashamed for keeping your personal life personal.
Holly, I am so so happy you have managed to overcome certain fears you have had regarding your social status over the summer. I am amongst a large number of people who has followed your journey across Europe and, let me tell you, it has been so enthralling to witness your personal growth. As someone who has found it challenging to make friends at times over the years, your travel vlogs have always managed to brighten up my day whenever I was feeling a bit under the weather from a social perspective. It’s the best feeling ever when you find 'your people' that you can be yourself around, so happy for you! And it’s completely normal to not want to overshare any info about certain things people have been asking you about. Just saying, but I didn’t tell one single person I was in my first relationship until I was 6 months into it…😂

Hearing you talk about making friends really hit home. I’m currently in sixth form and it’s not that i’ve found the last year hard, but going from having a close knit group to not really having friends is such a shift and you articulated everything I’m currently feeling so perfectly. I’m hoping my life works out as well as yours, we both have similar interests from what i can tell and have had similar experiences (last year i struggled with my relationship with food, friendship issues and social anxiety and i’m looking to apply to oxford this year) Sorry for drawing this out but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing, I felt weirdly understood❤️❤️
I think it’s really smart to keep some parts of your life private to process and evaluate for yourself before letting the world’s opinions come through. I really appreciate the parts you do show because I can really relate to you as a girl in her twenties who has never been in a relationship whilst it feels like everyone else around me is or has been in one. Seeing you talk about travelling really makes me want to travel and push myself, I have social anxiety but feel like I don’t want to have missed opportunities in life if I don’t take a risk.

growing up I never thought I’d love travelling this much, but honestly it’s done soooo so much for me!
A healthy level of privacy keeps things classy! Once something is shared, it generally cannot be taken back/go unseen or unheard, which can set off a string of consequences later despite good intentions.

I am 24 as well and honestly I would say, that I experienced the most things (and grew the most) in the past 1-2 years. It's a very interesting age tho 😅
I definitely feel like there is a lot going on in your twenties and so I think to enjoy it most you just need to go with the flow and step outside your comfort zone a bit 😉

I'm a bit confused. I completely agree that Holly doesn't need to share parts of the her life and some parts should be kept private, but I'm a bit confused why certain shots were included in her previous videos where Charlie and her would be lying in bed together, he grabs her chest, or there's one video where it looks like they are about to kiss. Unless I'm missing something, it seems like there was an obvious attempt at insinuating there was something was going on? Or maybe Holly didn't fully realise that including such shots would create that perception? People were asking about Charlie and Holly for obvious reasons. I completely respect her decision to keep that part of her life private, I'm just honestly confused why one would include such shots and then say "I'm going to keep this private". Or maybe... it's to say.. "something is going on, but I can't share any more details beyond what you see on the screen".
i felt ok sharing that and people could interpret it as they wished. however i have now made the decision that going forwards i will not be speaking directly and explicitly about what is going on, at least for now whilst everything is very new, fresh and we are trying to figure things out for ourselves. you may still see familiar faces in my videos, yes, as i'm not going to try and hide everything (and i think it's super nice for you guys to have been able to watch how i met charlie and daniel in Germany how our friendship has evolved), but i just do not want to be *verbally* labelling anything or saying what it is right now. i hope that kind of makes sense! 🙈

I'd like to know if you regret (that might not be the right word) not drinking or going out during uni or when you were younger when it was super exciting and novelty to do so? It's great to see you 'grow up' now (sorry probably not the right word again) but I can't help but think you could've done all this with your peers when you were like 18-21 years old 😅
Also, it's important to stay true to yourself and if drinking and clubbing isn't for you or something you want to start liking then you absolutely don't have to do it 😘 peer pressure is sometimes a thing without even realising it if you convince yourself that you want to when you don't
Just for context, I'm your age (turning 25 next month) and myself and friends are now over clubbing, we feel too old tbh and I know lots of others our age feel the same! Seeing you get a bit giddy over the things most did 6-7 years ago is kinda strange but also nice!
