Joan Cusack in "Sixteen Candles" I really love this these clips. Love the chair when she is trying to drink a beer & falls back. It's soo Lol. Great 80's Comedy Movie....
Joan Cusack, I think only has that one line in this movie, where she says "yeah!" one the bus, but she is one of the most hilarious characters in the movie.
Omg lmao I was just laughing about this i had to look it up because I was in a car accident recently and right now I look just like this character lmao
I had to look this up because I wanted to emphasize how cool I was just now to my friend in a text. I answered a phone call like “Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Thanks.” Like a badass. I’m ordering food now. Mustache
I feel so stupid. I had no idea that Joan and John were siblings. I guess its becuase I never bothered to remember her name. It was a weak ago I just found that out.
Jokinen 17 me too. just found out today. I’ve seen both of them in movies and only knew Johns name. but now i realize that they really look so much alike
Omg she is the one I remember from the movie the most! I love the water fountain scene the best! Her and John are wayyyy wayyyy too underrated as actors. She is an amazing comedian! I love her sarcasm in movies! John is an amazing actor (minus comedy he is NOT good at comedy).
And my point right here is why Joan should have never been a one and done season castmember on SNL she is freaking funny I would have kept. Her going into season 12 I mean she way funner then Victoria Jacksons am I right people??
This character was just as brilliant as a silent movie comedian, just like Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton. The character deserved her own movie of her coping with life as an adult still wearing her favorite shirt with her neck brace never saying much. Just as funny as Mr. Bean or other comical characters that are basically mimed silent comedies. She might be too old to pull off the character today, and people are too much into cancel culture and politically correctness to accept the character now. She is still my favorite part of 16 Candles.
I love this actress! She is so damn funny, and plays every character perfectly! She makes them so believable as characters!
💛
Why she hasn't won an Oscar yet is beyond me.
So hilarious seeing Joan Cusack as a geek before she became big.
And she was hilarious even then! You can see her comedic talent even in this. :)
Is that that actress who plays Jessie from Toy Story
In the water fountain scene she shows great comedy chops. So good. Thanks for posting this.

I use this video every time someone in text makes it weird. I have no joke sent this SOOO many times! I love it!
Did you know that she was already 21 years old when she made this teen movie?

I remember when I saw this as a kid I always wondered why she didn't have more lines. She was just getting started!
You should've added in the part where she's dancing at the high school dance. Loved that bit.
Love Joan!
heh heh. love the water fountain scene. I can so relate!!!!
Joan has always been Hilarious! 😁❤️

They also have a sister that was in A League of Their Own
Can't believe that's Jessie the Cowgirl.
It’s Sheila Jackson from shameless in 1984

Thanks for posting but a 30 sec Ad on a 57 sec clip is harsh on the viewer.
Fortunately as of 2021 it doesn’t have one anymore
I want that sweater!
dig her sweater, it rocks! LOL I want one to haha
I don't
😂
Girl with a hat is just so...vogue! Uhhh..yeah..

Ooah, yeah. Okay…thurhadh
She was allergic to cups and glasses?
See, she can't get a drink because her neck brace is in the way. This is funny...If you laugh at this, you are a bad person.
And YOU are humorless.
I miss when we used to laugh at political incorrectness
