Lil Wayne of the watch game
I'm happy someone sat grant down for this convo
LOL
I like his enthusiasm and it's refreshing to see a guy who's not married to brands or heritage. He's just buying because he likes the watch. There's nothing wrong with that. He's not a watch snob.
@Theo The ONLY thing that makes an expensive watch worth the buy is if you enjoy owning it. If you value brand and heritage and that enhances your enjoyment of ownership that is great. If someone else couldn't care less about brand and heritage and just likes the biggest boldest most complicated watch they can find because that enhances their enjoyment, also fine. Different strokes.
@@donellmcclure5445 this is true for everything except for Rolex. They are just so cool lol
Hublot seems the perfect brand for him...
elom44 big watch to match his ego
You know what's said: money doesn't give you style
🤣IKR..All flash and not worth a shit.
Not a fan of Hublot or his channel but this might be the smartest man ever on this show. His rule about understanding the difference between earned income and passive income (also known as capital gains) is so staggeringly correct I had to rewind. It takes 30 years of making money, REAL money, the kind of money you can never lose because the money is your employee out hustling every day to understand what he's talking about. Your cash from having a job is painfully earned because you gave up your time for that money and you'll never get back...that's time you could have had with your family ..time gone forever. Now passive income cost you no time. It's a commodity like coca cola or bar of soap.
@@JC-hu3yj I didn’t find him egotistical even slightly. He came from nothing and buys what he likes.
He has no idea what he's talking about, but that's part of the fun of watching this! Not all watch enthusiasts are "horologists" or any of that crap. Sometimes it's just "this looks cool and I want it!" He's SO RIGHT about watch stores SUCKING at what they do (selling watches) - there's no way to compete with the internet about that. Anyway, great stuff Teddy! Man you are killing it and I can't wait to see the MVMT video!
agree refreshing!
I disagree about in store vs. online. Watch Journalists, youtubers and ads all present watches as looking good online and when you place the order and they come I've noticed often times is falls below expectattions. I am new to watch collecting and I'm constantly being cat-fished with watches and have to return them. I MUCH prefer to first see the watch in person, get a feel for them with my own eyes and senses. The advantages of online shopping is finding watches that are limited or rare.
@@philipjean6309 Also, I don't like the risk of porch pirates stealing the watch.
This guy is my kind of watch collector. He buys because he loves the way it looks and feels. Not to flip for a profit.
Teddy, you are smashing it recently! Keep up the good work man, congrats!
Thanks Lazar! Have some fun videos coming out in the coming weeks. Mvmt and Kevin O’Leary coming soon!

I love seeing these watches I'll never be able to touch but would love to see him interview people with everyday watches and the stories behind why they are important to them.
"Dude, dude dude dude dude. Dude."
i started follow u now because u do more of these watch vlogs, great
Watching this wearing my Pam164! I bought the 164 as it was different from the usual Panerai’s everyone was buying and I loved the style. Maybe now with some exposure it’ll become more sought after. Great video.
One of the few watch enthusiasts who buys a watch he personally loves regardless of other people’s opinions ... nice
So Happy to see you Teddy going full involved in your channel ! I wish you all the best and keep the good work ! :*
Fantastic interview! I would go for the Patek or Panerai.
Awesome video Teddy, keep it up man
Thanks Ethan!!
Great sit down, my friend!
Thank you Justin!
I'm a huge fan of your page and this episode. Good stuff Brother, Grant has a very nice collection. That's my Guy
I hope uve asked him a lot of questions regarding business .and not just talk about time pieces. Keep doing what your doing . Love your chanel
I sure did! And enjoyed his insight into selling watches and saving for watches.
More of this please
Greatttt video
I enjoyed watching the gears turning inside of Teddy's head as Grant is explaining his watch buying "philosophy"
Late to this party, but love how he calls Richard Mille just straight up as American as possible ‘Rich-ard’. He’s interesting, doesn’t care. Beautiful.
OMG that muller was quite amazing splendid one. i want expecting him owning a beautiful collection but he has it.DAMN
Love the interview. Cool guy .
Funny I’ve never heard of him or seen him before but I completely love his ideology when it comes to watches. He wears what he likes and not what the crowd likes. Value doesn’t have to be there. Just buying what he likes. Awesome!!
What a great video - Teddy, you're knocking it out of the park!!
His collection is a absolute masterclass in macho overcompensation.
🤭🤭🤭
This is the comment I came here to make. Also note his constant stutter-interruption that ONLY macho a-holes do. Jesus.
Oh, so i actually didn't miss that video on your channel, it just wasn't up yet...xD
But awesome Interview, and very nice collection!
Not the type of watch collector I would discuss watches with but very good financial advice though. Very good indeed.
That Panerai being 2 clicks off at 11:10 triggered me so much haha. Great video Teddy. First Michael, now this. You're growing homie. Keep it up!
Same here 🤣👍
At 26:00 minutes 😂 at 26:04, Teddy’s face is how we all felt when he lets the watch fall onto the sapphire
It was torture
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Teddy the 🐐
would for sure go for the 5980R!
Teddy my man, when your in Miami you gotta dress the part! Great video!
Patek of course 😍🤩
"I see it and I buy it, zero research" haha that's awesome
Ted was looking at the hublot kinda funny lol
Man, you're in my neck of the woods I live in the Florida Keys.
I would definitely take the solid gold Patek Philippe! No question.
I'll take the AP. Thank you very much Grant!
Saw you pocket one Teddy!
😂😂
White gold Patek for sure
This man is jacked! Having flashbacks to that time Phillion roasted this guy.
Baby Benjamins!!!!! Need some of those!
That is quite a unique collection. I think it is remarkable, that Grant Cardone is so frank about the value of the watches. I would say, you buy them for yourself, because you enjoy them. Because it is quality of life, like it is for myself.
Grant cardone is like the MVMNT and vincero of real estate lol
Considering he's got a 350 million dollar real estate portfolio I'd say he's far from the mvmt of real estate
Better than talking watches where it's the same Rolex after the same Rolex. I may not love all of these watches but the guy buys what he likes that is watch collecting.
Would definitely be taking the yellow gold patek please 😊
If Hodinkee doesn't bang on your door begging you to join their team, they're crazy. Well done.
Nice interview and sound advice. The one exception is Floyd, that dude has gyms and all kind of investments. Don’t underestimate his money smarts.
The point about buying luxury out of investment is a really important one
this chrono panerai is quiet nice.
Lmao, let's be honest, Teddy. That's not the type of watch collector you want to discuss watches with.
@Bilal Ibrahim Ok, daddy
I disagree, he buys what he like's, this man is no fool. I would agree not the only person to interview, but outside of wealth he seems like a regular guy who has the means to buy what he likes. Nothing wrong with that.
@@VersedNJ Nobody said there was anything wrong with that?
Then what’s the type of watch collector he should be interviewing?
@@estevanangel9990 Collectors that appreciate the movements inside their watches, the history, etc. Kinda like the people on Talking Watches on the Hodinkee channel.
A great video and a very interesting man.
Is this re-upload or continuation of previous episode?
Cardone the great finesser
Mr. Grant sounds like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Nice video as well
White gold Nautilus hand down, no questions asked, the Nautilus bubble is huge right now and there is no end in sight for it I doubt it will ever pop.
Great interview and stories. lol.. he also found a missing $20k stashed with that misplaced Panerai chrono.. and that bonus find didn't seem to be a big deal, but the watch was. Curious what else could be misplaced?! Most of the watches are not my style, but can appreciate and think still cool and impressive collection.
Ha.. i would take any 1 watch, but the Patek Nautilus probably would be my pick. So< Teddy, did you get a free watch from one of the watch boxes?!
I would love tht AP royal oak chrono in gold .....
Interesting guy. Nice change from the usual. Enjoyed the episode.
Teddy and the rest of us had a heart attack when he slammed the watches on the table lol (@25:53) Teddy's look of disgust intensifies.
i feel like he was uncomfortable for half of the interview, for teddy, these luxurious watches are like his passion while grant treats them like another piece of candy 😂
@@Unknown-pg2ne they're not on the same wavelength
They aren’t teddys, dude needs to chill😂
I enjoyed the vid had no idea who Grant was but I like his take on watch collecting. Teddy's face when that watch rolled on its face though. Priceless.
Neither his personality nor his watches are my cup of tea, but still a very good segment Teddy.
Totally agree. I don't believe this guy is a watch lover.
Those were my thoughts as well. Something very crass about this guy but a good job by Teddy.
He’s such a clown.
@@RichBuddy before u open ur mouth and say something stupid like that do some research.....i worked with a guy who did business with his brother....his family has done alot for the community and they take care of their employees very very well
@@artmccomeskey738 fair enough Art, i don't know the guy.
here we are 3 years later and the watch market went crazy. what a world eh?
Teddy you are doing the interview, it should not be the other way around.😉
It's nice to have different points of view and people. Even if their not enjoyable.
Hi! New subscriber from SG. Loving the videos!! Enjoyed the different perspective and the watches. :)
Blazer in the Miami heat? You’re too much of a boss!
I would go for the Panerai
The big Pan. The Pateks are obviously Rolls Royce’s but that big Pan is specialé.
Teddy - VERY interesting interview. Your technique and give and take was spot on. Well done!
THANKS TO YOU I AM GROWING TOO❤
Really enjoyed that chat! and there’s me worried about spending on a Tudor BB58 😑
Forgive me, but it almost felt like your mic was disconnected. It seemed like your personal audio was picked up from a distance.
interesting perspective from someone who made it and great financial advice
Me and Grant here are clearly completely different in just about every way, but you can't deny that the advice he's giving about when you can actually afford to buy something like that is very sound. As for the watches in that box, I'd take either the Pierre Kunz or the AP.
A little A/V note: the exposure on the camera facing Grant was too high. Teddy's mic is way too low. Great video!
“I’m not here to talk about money” proceeds to talk and talk about how he got rich and how amazing he is💆♂️💆♂️💆♂️
A true narcissist
@@denisdaly1708 yes. yes GC is
Yes, the person has to like him or her watch first!!!!
I can just feel the slime dripping off this guy. Go watch a few of his videos, such as a live close, and you'll understand!
Ya, a scam artist.
Cross country tour! Nice
Enjoyed this one. He is not the most knowledgeable and still has a much more interesting collection than most wealth collectors you see on UA-cam.
He got it and buys watches for the right reason, because he likes them. 👍🏻
I like all these watches, very beautiful and unique.
I have a Emporio Armani I picked up for $125 on 70% sale, that's about as much as I'll spend on a watch. I'm very happy with my 12 peice collection. I just scour for sales and resales
Teddy wont let Grant talk. He keeps interrupting him.
Yay! Another collection based on having lots money for contemporary mainstream watches.
Maybe the next one is about vintage pieces or something not many know about?
I think he is a watch enthusiast that loves his watches for what they are and not for what they are worth. Who cares about what they cost. It is all about feelings. The same thing applies in sales. If your client likes the property, money is not as much important. Gotta love the whole section about passive income to buy luxury items!!
I would take the date just. for where I am atm that's suits me
Is this a re-upload?
I guess the collection won't be everyone's cup of tea but anyone can see that they share certain traits that make them a collection. It might have been a more interesting video if he had more stories behind some of the watches but he states it out loud at the beginning that he prefers real estate over watches. Whatever floats ones boat IMO.
Regardless, great video Teddy!
Teddy came out of northeast Ohio and LeBroned the watch review game. Became an All-Star rubbing elbows with Grant Cardone and Kevin O'Leary
I take the white gold Patel!
Great video, there was one of life's greatest lessons on money there, and if people took time to study what he was saying, it would change everyone's life. I buy all of mine on passive income as well. I would take the AP Royal Oak, it is what I hope to get one day, and what I'd wear with jeans.
What's up Teddy B!
Nothing much. Just chilling. Going to work on MVMT documentary later.
@@TeddyBaldassarre Awesome, have a great one!
Great content here! I totally underestimated Grant Cardone in the begining, but the financial advices he gave are pure gold! Thanks a lot Teddy!
Why is this posted again? It was released a few weeks ago
I religiously followed GC's 10X philosophy for 2 years when I worked in sales. And then it started affecting my health and I burned out like no other. GC knows nothing about what life's really about. All he cares about is money and superficial things.
Majority of the world does. I stepped down to part time and I've never been happier, they could keep the extra money. Time is priceless.
@@clo2715 The funny thing is, my boss always pushed us to make more calls by emphasizing the fact that time is your most valuable asset. Use it wisely. I was like, "You know, you're right. So what am I doing selling my time to you?"
If you religiously followed something for two long years and couldn't tell in a week or weeks weather the info was effective your a moron.Stop being such a victim, wahh my health...lol.Guarantee this guy hustles way harder than you and does he not look healthy at 60?So than the problem lies in you.Stop blaming others. On top of that he's contributed way more to any charities than you and helped change lives.
His exact first watch was, not my first watch but my first "real" watch too, i bought it myself for my 30th birthday 2 years ago after digging through debt, weight loss and lots of other problems for 5-6 years. I love this watch so much, it gives me goose bumps even when i see it in the videos. Everytime i have it on my wrist i think about what i had to do do be able to spend so much money on a watch and what i am capable of and that i am never gonna give up. I would never ever sell that watch. I hope i can explain the sentimental value to a maybe future son and make him waer it and never sell. It would break my heart and i'd rather take it into the grave.
Unfort. My father died when i was 14 but i remeber him wearing a fake omega, he loved the brand but he just couldnt afford to buy one and spent the little money on toys for me and my brother. I think he would have been a watch lover too. If he still lived i would habe bought him a seamaster for his birthday.
Teddy said only two brands appreciate Rolex but I couldn't understand the other he mentioned? Anyone?
Gotta let the dude talk Teddy.
His enthusiasm is fun. Dude is not an expert and that’s fine.
