    The real takeaway from this is that everything is marketing. Just as you marketed yourself with the fake Rolex and the big office to project success - if you look deeper into this, the same could be said for Rolex. The brand is synonymous with wealth and luxury. The truth is, the superclones from China are at a point where the internals are interchangeable with the original. The difference between them is price and limits. The genuine ones are purposefully kept low in number, whereas the superclones can be mass produced. It’s basic supply and demand - you think you’re paying into exclusivity, and you are - but that exclusivity is itself a manufactured construct - they don’t have to be as limited as they are.
    It’s all marketing. Everything.

    • @ThatGuy-sc5rx

      I've read that even seasoned watchmakers can have difficulty telling the difference even when they open up a clone

    • @watches-replica
      @watches-replica 8 місяців тому +4

      I couldn't agree more. China's production technology is constantly upgrading, and the difference between high-end replicas and genuine products is so small that even professional masters cannot tell the difference. I needed a finishing touch so I bought a Rolex Submariner in China for $400. I knew it was fake and the movement used was Japan’s Citizen 8215 movement, but I still spent the money because it gave me confidence. I am now also an agent for selling their products in our country. It gives me confidence and makes my life better. I have money now and can buy a genuine watch, but I don’t have it, I still have it (it has been working diligently for 5 years).

    • @ams914
      @ams914 7 місяців тому

      That's still not enough to meet demand though. That's the issue. It's not fake scarcity. They are trying very hard to increase production. In fact, they are building two new factories as we speak. So let's say that takes them to 3 million watches a year. That will help, but probably still not enough. The real question is how many potential buyers there are each year.@@Sovnarkom

    Here’s the most common sense advice: if you buy a fake expensive watch, you have to get yourself an expensive car, expensive clothes, something that could match the look. Nobody’s gonna believe you have a real Rolex when you don’t fit the look. So, by the time you do all that you will be spending more than buying a real 15,000 watch that could be a good investment or a way to save money

    Biggest Takeaways for me: Push your self, project where you want to be (and it's not fake it till you make it)
    Love the advice. By the way, I once bought a Mido watch for some bucks too for a job interview and I got the position, months later I bought a brand new executive watch by Cartier 😊

    Make alot of sense! What advice would you give to a new yorker looking to learn the fame of real estate and maybe start of becoming an agent?

    I appreciate what this video is about, but I feel like I'm late to the party. Everyone I talk with says, "Oh, I'm already working with a Real Estate Agent." If everyone I meet is saying the same thing, how do I get around that?

    Ziarex must be stopped at all costs. People are losing money since their mega clone watches started to be sold as originals on the aftermarket.

    I also bought one of those fake Rolex watches for $20 on Canal St. in NYC Chinatown a long time ago. I was always embarrassed when anyone noticed it or mentioned it, thinking it was real. I was kinda glad when it finally broke after 3 years and I just tossed it. I got my money's worth for $7 a year though. LOL😆

    Either it looks totally different on camera than it does in person or this guy is colorblind because that's not rose gold on his wrist right now at least from the way it looks on UA-cam
