ONE OF THE GREATEST SONGS OF ALL TIME
This song is 100% chill. I haven't thought of it in many, many years. Good call, Harri.
Ronnie Hammond was a great vocalist. ARS, so many great songs.
I believe the Core of this group is/was former members of THE CLASSICS IV. Partially why they did a remake of "Spooky". Amazing band. I love their song "Neon Nights" and "Imaginary Lover". Great reaction Harri, thanks!
Another good tune by them, "Do It Or Die," acoustic ballad from 1979.

Great Southern Rock band. One of my favorites. Ronnie Hammond had a smooth, soulful voice. Very talented guys. Very underrated as well.
Imaginary Lover was another great song they did. Thanks for this one, this band is always on my playlist!
Ooh yes, Harri should react to that too!
Great Great song!
@jeanearle2350 You're welcome!

Now you know why they were called the Atlanta RHYTHM Section. That’s what they do!!
Always loved this song. My first time hearing it with headphones. Even better!
Such a fantastic song. I just love the Atlanta Rhythm Section. It’s funky but kind of laid-back at the same time. Thank you, Neal and Harri.
This one had been on my playlist for too long! You're welcome, Cynthia!
Made my ears happy 🤩🎼🎹🌼👍 Thanks Neal and Harri 😇🙏❤️
You're welcome, Agnete!
This band was made up of some of the pioneers in this field of progressive easier listening music. More of the seventies…Atlanta, Georgia.
PN Combies, an excellent choice for Harri to react to. "So Into You" sounds just as great today as it did back then. 👍👍👍
Imadrummin - "So Into You" is a timeless gem. Thanks, brother!
One of my all time favorites. Thanks for sharing.
@randyhoneycutt8153 You're welcome -- the pleasure was ours!
Ronnie Hammond's voice was as smooth as glass (RIP). The better version in my opinion is when ARS did
this live on Old Grey Whistle Test 1977 check it out you won't be disappointed. It also featured more from
Barry Bailey is on lead guitar with his signature sound, which we all love. Also, RIP he died in 2022.
One groovy ass track! 🖖🏼
My favorite song by the Atlanta Rhythm Section! Thanks for this video. 😊
@robbiesalyers8490 You're welcome! I always considered 'So Into You" to be ARS' signature song.
They also do an excellent cover of "Spooky"!

I love this song. It brings back great memories and I haven’t heard it in years! Wonderful request and nice reaction. Thanks Harri and Neal. 🌺✌️
Thank you so much, Debbie!
It’s very cool to listen to a fantastic song that you haven’t listened to in decades… you hear things you never noticed before! This song really does have so much going on in it. The guitars are amazing! Thanks very much, Neal, for this superlative submission, and to Harri, for your astute reaction!
Glad you're digging it, Ian! Thanks for the kind words.
I had forgotten this song. We loved it when it came out. Great Grooving music taking a drive with the wind in your hair. Loved to dance with a love interest. Mmmmmmmmm.
Champagne Jam is an absolute must for you Harri. You will love it.
Ahhhh...the band I loved as a teenager, I grew up in Doraville where they grew up, everyone worshipped the ground they walked on, loved all their music, Doraville, Champagne Jam, Jukin, Dog Day Night, oh thank you so much for this!!! One of many great Southern rock bands at the time, from Mother's Finest, Elvin Bishop, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, the list goes on and on...oh the memories😂
Great Band Harri. Saw them the first time in 1976.
I would've loved to see ARS. Always dug their music. I've seen alot of the greats, but never these great musicians.
If it wasn't for 3rd Bass, I wouldn't have known about this group. I'm glad I took a listen to ARS. And this one is a vibe all it's own!
Very nice to hear this song again. This group was a reconstruction of Classics Four. Both they and ARS did Spooky, which you might like to check out. 👍👍👏👏👏
I was born in 66 ... 30 years of great music in my life ..... after that 🤣
Agreed 👍 I was born in 1960 and 70s music is my favorite decade. Followed by the 2nd British invasion of the early and mid 80s.
Love these guys & saw them twice in 70s!🎵
Definitely from the mid 70's, ine of my all time favorites❤
ARS is one my favorite bands from the mid to late 70s,great catalogue to check out,another great pick Neal,great reaction Harri! Great Southern Rock!
@chuck4tnvols681 Thank you, brother!
@@pncombies You're Welcome!

PNC - This was terrific and just as good as I recalled. This is a wonderful submission choice.
Dave- Thank you, brother!
ARS is a really great band. You really need to give a listen to their song "Spooky"
Cheers!

I was in Atlanta when this came out. Really good song. I’d love it no matter when it came out!
Great choice PN. Have not heard this in a long time. Thanks for your reaction Harri. 👏👏🥰
@Lakeshore14 Thank you!
Thanks for the music, Hari. Always liked this song
ARS ......amazing band, I adore them. I listen to them at work a LOT,!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is such a jam. Swampy Blue Eyed Soul 70's
ARS! Great pick 🍻
@DanielGarcia-sh8gk Thank you!
They were the rhythm section for Studio One recording studio in Doraville, Georgia. Then they got Ronnie Hammond as the lead singer, and formed this band. They were awesome.
One of the best
Love this group, great choice 😀
@KrazyKatLadyx2 Thank you!
Saw these guys..or what's left of them at the Helen Keller Festival in Tuscumbia Alabama about 9 years ago outdoors...I must say they sounded pretty dang good ..
I loved their 3 hits, so int you, Imaginary lover and Spooky. PS, I loved the combination, Mix of clean guitar sounds and Fender Rhodes. And in terms of the sound of that band, I totally agree Harri. A special one.
3 hits? Off the top of my head, what about "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight", "Doraville", "Do It Or Die" and "Champagne Jam"?
@@pncombies Bc, I do not know more songs of that band.
@@clannad99germany70 Well the four I shared are a good place to start! Enjoy!
Groovy request, pncombies, and awesome reaction, Harri. Haven't heard this song in years.
Glad you're digging it, Marcus!
Thank you Harri and Neal, I've always loved this one.
You're welcome, Anne -- always a pleasure!
Great song❤
Just commented but want to add..70s music was very diverse perhaps because the bands were actual musicians and jazz, funk, and all genres were in our music.
Very good point!
Great stuff. ARS - When, Indigo Passion, Free Spirit..
Great request Neal!
Ultra cool tune.
Thank you, Scott!
ARS is so smooth...brings lots of memories of the 70s
Harri, you got a groove goin' on!
There are some long versions of this, and you're right, it is a good jam....
Good man...oldie for sure...excellent@
Great sone and a good selection. I don't know why I forgot this song. Thanks for the reminder. Love your channel.🎶🎤🎧🫶💜🎼
@bernie66 Thank you!
Lived in Doraville for many years. Listen to that song by ARS
Now you are talking. Real musicians' music. Brilliant. A.R.S. is the best. If people listen to this, they will become musically educated.
@Dieselfu Thank you!
This genre is called "American Southern Rock" and it has Jazz, Country, Blues and of course, Rock. They are in the same category with Eagles in some way.
ARS, Champagne Jam. You won’t be disappointed.
Large Time is a great banger off that album. My favorite ARS song.
Harri.....gotta listen to SPOOKY by this group. One of my favorites 😍.
@sharonglover7221 One of mine, too! ua-cam.com/video/zvjRj9jv-jk/v-deo.htmlsi=VHAhXDIySWNCJAYz
There are some good live versions of this , just have to look , love these 2 Guitarist
This whole album is excellent, yeah? Great musicians.
❤❤❤❤
It ends up in everyone's playlist lol
"Southern Exposure" by ARS will mellow you out.
Time to listen to Snarky Puppy/Jacob Collier/Big Ed Lee. *Don't You Know*. It's on the level of EWF *Fantasy* which you love so well. Thanks for your keen, empathic insight.
💖💖💖💖💖
I've always thought Luther Vandross could have done a good cover of this.
I remember when this song came out. I’d never heard of ARS before. They had a couple pop hits in this musical vain. I think they also covered spooky, if memory serves. But they were very much just a pop band for me at the time, so I never paid very close attention to them. Now I know they were Atlanta studio musicians, so not your typical pop band. For better and worse, they sound like 70’s studio musicians. A sort of bland polish that just feels a little off, imo.
SODA STEREO DE ARGENTINA !!!! ua-cam.com/video/iYlvtcjnpZk/v-deo.html
They've done better. "Spooky" is better, even..
@melliehobson8299 Been there, done that!

There was a GENRE in the 70’s and it was MY FAVORITE! It Was Called SOUTHERN ROCK! It Not Only Included ARS, but also LEGENDS Like
The Allman Bros. Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, and The Charlie Daniels Band! Other Great Bands were The OUTLAWS, Wet Willie, Elvin Bishop, and Many others! We were Truly BLESSED To be YOUNG in Those Old CLASSIC ROCK Days!!
