- Hello everyone, I'm back for another video with commentary. I was debating on what to do for my next video of this type and decided to talk about Fixa Abandac as its probably the most centralizing Fixa in NGS to date. Most of this video is just talking about what Abandac is and my quick thoughts on it as someone who does TA/Speedruns or whatever you wanna call it.
Before I get a fellow TA/speedrunner get angry at me...I respect anyone who can clear the content regardless of if they have abandac or not. I'm also fully aware that there are clears of stuff with Aegis II without abandac. You cant deny however this fixa as a absolutely massive jump in power compared to the others though.

I also hope others get a substantial boost. Abandac has the ability to get even stronger as well with the addition of more slots since there are likely going to be more S caps and you won't have to use as many suboptimal augs to get the max boost. Blastor is the one I'm most worried about, and I've thought about it a lot; I think they should make that one build more PB on top of what it already does to give people a reason to use it as a main weapon instead of just a PB stick.
I agree. Abandac will only get easier with more slots and more s caps. I'm not sure how to feel about blastor I think if the base potency it has gets increased alongside pb damage it could be kinda worrying. Right now it mostly gets pushed as a PB stick but that could change depending on what gets buffed. Other fixas really need their effects doubled to keep up I feel.
@@BlazeLatiasPSO2 It's hard to come up with a perfect solution tbh. It's a really big problem that they designed themselves into x.x. A friend of mine thinks they should do like pso2 and make max fixa guaranteed eventually, since it's a similar issue to elements back in pso2jp and sega just made all 13*+ weapons drop with max element and the meta became more about swapping them for a while.
@@ResPSO Well they technically seem to be alleviating this with the EX cube for add preset lv 1 if i recall correctly from the same post in the video which definitely helps. There's still no "easy" way to upgrade from there aside from spend SG though so it still is a issue. I can see where their coming from with elements. I remember you had to upgrade those and then eventually it was changed to just being maxed out. We'll have to see how things go from here since sega seems to be more open about fixing things now a days (if not a bit too slow at times)

@ResPSO fixa should not be guaranteed, that would mean everyone will be able to have the best lvl 5 fixa with minimal to no work involved and the market for fixa selling will crashed. Fixa is a luxury thing, it should be treated as rarity & scarcity
Then Sega introduces a Fixa variant of Sky Dragon's Boon (Skydance Support in NA).
Definitely hoping Abandac gets "fixed" somehow come February! Fingers crossed ~
Yeah for sure. Either that or the fixas get buffed up enough to where abandac is only slightly stronger.

If you are refering to "new fixas values" as in what they will be late jan. We dont know. I was guessing what i hope they will be in order to keep up with abandac.
Sooooo...hypothetical question here. Say you had a hunter friend with a Melek Endoif w/Aband. IV, what budget friendly augs would u suggest for them to get the most pot? You know...for my friend... totally not me...😂 and no, Lux is NOT quite in the budget, but have Gigas Maste, Halp. a few Triplble S' from scratch along w/Gladia Soul S, Highel Dom S and some Exdi's. 🤷🏽♀️
Alright so due to the nature of abandac you would need to have as many unique affixes possible without tanking your overall potency.
A simple example would be your weapon using:
Exdi Deftmelra
Grand dread keeper
Gladia soul
Halphinale
gigas maste
HighAel domina
then unit 1 would be somthing like
Exdi Deftmeltech
Grand dread keeper LC
Gladia soul S
Halphinale LC
gigas Euphory II
HighRet domina
Then unit 2
Exdi Spimelra
Gladia soul LC
Halphinale
Gigas maste S
High Ael domina LC
Grand dread keeper
then unit 3
Exdi Spimeltech
Grand dread keeper
Gladia soul
Halphinale

Gigas maste LC
Im sure this isnt perfect but this is the best i can come up with on the spot. I believe this is 18 or so unique affixes. you could probably hit 20 if you swaped out a GDK or 2 for various triplbles but id just take the 18 unique and the free potency floor(especially cause as a hunter you really dont want to get low rolls on Relentless cleaves). If you can afford the S caps from SG support as well as make the normal versions its not too bad to have a mostly affordable abandac setup. I hope this helps you!, i mean your friend :]
@BlazeLatiasPSO2 Ah OK. The way I thought it worked was to use the same augs, but with different ends - like say Gigas Maste LC, Gigas Maste, then a Gigas Maste S since it sees them all as different augs, therefore maximizing the potential, not taking away from it. Why do they have to make these calculations on pot. so complicated? 😵💫
@@christinerodriguez4476 Well yes, you can use similar affixes with different Suffix at the end and it will count towards abandac. I believe that was what i was trying to show with the quick example in my previous comment, sorry if that wasnt clear.
@BlazeLatiasPSO2 No no it's OK. Just trying to make the most of what I have and trying to wrap my head around just how to do that. So try not to "re-use" the same worded augs for weapon AND armors? Like your example, correct and it will still maximize the abandac? Right now I think I have the same LC augs over & over on my armors. 🫠
@@christinerodriguez4476 Yup you need up to 20 max different named affixes. Can be either a different suffix at the end or a different affix entirely for it to count. If the same affix is used more than once it will not count towards abandac and thats OK if you can only hit around 17 unique affixes.
