Sega giving us nothing to do and people for some reason still needing guides for gearing in NGS although it's absolutely braindead easy. I stopped randomly checking peoples gear because the abominations I saw were giving me psychological scars.

I personally feel its attributed to laziness and the whole fashion portion of the game which while a strong upside of the game seems to draws in some really bad players/mindsets, more so compared to base. Also considering there's nothing to punish "bad gameplay" outside of UQ's taking Abnormally long or the 3 Ultra hard difficulty quests. Also i feel if i'm not brutally honest when giving points it wouldn't be me giving my opinion anymore lol.
Generally speaking a "re-skin" in a RPG consists of enemies with different color palettes and different stats. Its a catch all term for something in gaming that's the same as something else but different. I tried searching up "re-stat" on google and got no hits meaning its either not a actual term or one seldom used. In the gaming Industry, everyone will call something like Melik a reskin.
You do understand that if you learn how to actually fight the bosses you wont die right? People only die as much as they do in solus/in general not because they have low defense but because they refuse to learn or get better at their classes or are still learning. If you refuse to pick up these players you are part of whats wrong with this playerbase and are not helping it.
You are part of the problem then not everyone craves hard content. plus majority of them don’t know the mechanics of Dark Falz Solus instead of being a douchebag about it u could help guide them.
