His style is really unique. Not sure i can think of anyone else he reminds me of. I play bass (not well, but nonetheless, i play bass) and often am bewildered by what he is doing harmonically.
this was so awesome thank you for posting this. lost my shit at the end when LC goes "YO FUCK THAT ENDING" and then Rai is just like "DO IT OVER" and they all roll with it, nail it, and the crowd loses their minds. what an incredible live KNOWER moment caught on video :D
@@brucephoenix3989 You are right. I am checking her materiale exactly in these past few hours (after the LC's performance of Monday). It was nice to attend a gig and discover a brand new artist!
It's mandatory that I have to see everyone in KNOWER and all the branches of that musical world, live - and more than once - before I die. That's a given. But if fate decided it wasn't going to let that happen. And I had to pick a single song from a single config - it's Overtime and it's these guys. And it's with - at minimum -the same amount of great vibes and energy as this video Man it would have been so fucking good to be there, thanks for the upload :)
Great band and performance, it's a tune from Knower's repertoire but it sounds stellar w/ this bunch of musicians playing it all live w/o programming, in fact it's kinda better than the record in a way, or at least equal, since they are able to conjure up the same energy,... Nice to see Brazil Represented by Pedro Martins on guitar, spotting that Rickenbacker sunburst, he seems to relish the more 'low tech' end of instruments, but at the end of the day, it's all in the fingers...This is the group that Louis was gonna tour w/ back in 2020 but things had to be postponed. Glad to see them on the road. What an incredible rhythm section, fantastic solos all around, both David Binney and Rai Thistlethwayte plus the funky groove of Louis, Sam and Pedro (w/ that furious wah) was something else.
this line up is really something. as a brazilian (and Pedro Martins huge fan) it's a real treat to see him adding so much to this already stellar packed rhythm section. was really hoping that he was getting some solo time on this though, would really love to hear what he would come up with in this tune. anyways, this is the best live presentation of Overtime I've seen so far.
@@ChrisSmout Yeah, I know Genevieve and him are an item, but I believe that was no factor on him getting the gig (I mean the musical one ;) Louis hired him coz he can play. Listen to his furious wah rhythm guitar parts...
Just a few small clips, this is the only full song I recorded. You could try contacting studioinvites (link in description), pretty sure they recorded the entire show + the solo performances of Pedro Martins, Genevieve Artadi and Sam Wilkes on video.
Jaaaaam to excite your sound Huff and puff and blow yer bad house down Jam when you break down to the ground And when you git down WOO HA! - The Stick Men, Philadelphia 1981
Everyone in KNOWER plays like they've 100%ed their instrument and desperately in search of new challenges.
hahahaha
of course.
It's not KNOWER anymore, it's Louis and friends lol
@@fanlbc always was :)
man i want to hit that like but ...111!!
Sam Wilkes: what an absolute treat.

@@gmcsrbosavl6964 his technique and the way he plucks really hard reminds me of joe dart
@@Repentandbelievethegospel460 Agreed. My two favorite bassists!
As much as I enjoy all the musicians Louis Cole collabs with... Sam is by far always the highlight for me.
@@philsimmer same!
Seeing louis cole & co mess up is probably the best feeling ive ever had
Pedro on the guitar adds so much funk to this.
Genevieve Artadi is so incredibly talented. The perfect front-person for an incredibly talented set of musicians.
Hope to see Knower touring again.
i was just thinking how it took her like 0,1 second to go from casual to full focus
have such a crush o her. . . . . .
world class music on the side of a highway lol
Sam Wilkes blows my mind every single time I hear this song, that lick in the middle of the chorus is something else
yea that mofo is on some speed.. he has to be. that was the zone right there
I love how Louis always lets Rai go ALL-IN when playing Overtime together

This is the closest thing I’ve ever seen to somebody successfully reloading a saved game in real life. 😂
Louis cole always packs the house with talent.
UGH. Genevieve. Damn.

That was the best ending ever! I love how LC makes everyone get it right.
Ha ha ha they re-did the ending!!!! Epic! Humanity! Music!
Sam and Louis are so awesome together. Ripping it up. SHREDDING.
I've often said this, but Geneviève is music in its human form.
I love the music but I'm not going to lie, I could watch her shake her stuff ALL DAY!
Took me a while to notice the other girl
I LOVE the guitar 🎸 licks @1:03 & @2:10 ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is the band. Among all their various projects, this is the one with the most potential.
SERIOUSLY SUPERB KEYBOARD SOLO!!!!!! HOLY RAVIOLI!!!!
The second ending was better, indeed. Shout out to Louis Cole!
When I hear the sax playing with the drums, it reminds me of this band called Clown Core. But that is a mystery that will NEVER be solved
OMG - fancy hearing this for the first time!!! What a band!
Extra sick! Rai’s solo one of his best. At 4:26 gets way down 🎵. Nice to see Fuensanta sing with them too! 🤩 ✔️
Fuensanta, pure energy. I was at a LC gig in Fano, Italy, and she jumped on the stage all the time!
@@dsperanza79 That’s awesome-pretty talented too. On her website she plays bass, uke, sings. 🎵
