WTW, if you use bow string wax on the 1st, 4" of your air bolt it makes pulling them from target much MUCH easier & won't harm your dragon claw at all, just a tip for everyone. now try it on helium, you should get 30 percent more velocitity so about 1040fps with 150gr bullets.
Bought a few things from Pyramid, they are a good firm imo.
Coconut oil on arrow shaft helps the retrieval !

they are nice but they cost more than a real rifle, can buy a ruger 30-06 for less, they should have standard picatinny mount on the top have had too many issues with rings walking back on the 11mm mounts
One of the reasons it was so hard to get the air bolt out is that the tip of it is larger diameter, so that they can use standard diameter points. It looked like the tip was missing from the air bolt after you pulled it out, so it's probably in that core someplace.
I unscrewed the tip to make it easier to pull out

Wonder how this ads up to AEA .50 Calibers ? I’ve been trying to find a big bore rifle to deer hunt with that’s mobile and not 15 lbs and 7ft long ! I really like the dragon claw but I keep debating on the AEA ELEMENT MAX.457 … I want a air rifle that will out perform my crossbow so I can harvest deer out to a 100 + yards , will this D.C. be effective at 100 + yards ?

Ordered my Claw 2 from Midway yesterday. I hate waiting...
My dragon Claw 2 arrived in 3 days. What a beauty, and it was top of the green with air on arrival. And of course, I forgot ammo, so that took another couple days. I shot it yesterday and the sad truth is, this gun is NOT backyard friendly. HAHAHA It's very loud. I have on order bullet molds, and casting dies, cause I forsee a lot of shooting ahead.
