More bulk doesn’t necessary mean more protection, sometimes bulk just adds weight making dropping the device inside more fatal in some situations, there are some cases without a lot of bulk and some of the best protection out of all cases. eg mous cases

@Justin Saephan At least they weren't a short crappy cable other brands supply, and have two micro usb cables on my charging blocks, so replaced them with the provided one's from Amazon.
Micro is one of the big flaws....also no wireless.
Which they also use on all of their Alexa products!

Might be a good idea to point out that even though there is no physical volume control on the buds, the volume CAN be controlled with the Alexa voice control.

Rodolfo Maldonado Jr. I own both and they sound similar. I owned some other wireless earbuds that were louder than the AirPods but not as clear. The main reason I wanted AirPods is that, for whatever reason, Apple does it best with it comes to microphone quality. They just make some good mics in their earphones. Be it wired or not, they’re unparalleled. I have the EchoBuds as well now and they sound just as good quality wise. People downplay the AirPods a lot and while they’re not amazing, the music is clear, it has some bass, and it doesn’t distort. As far as the EchoBuds go, they have punchier bass and that ANR (active noise reduction). Overall these are solid 4/5. I take that point away for the micro usb. USB C would have given them a 5. Or even wireless charging. I don’t really wireless charge earbuds but still. Lol
Fernando Ochoa that’s good to hear. But yeah that micro usb is weird and yeah should have wireless charging at least even know I do t even use my wireless charger. The bass I’m hearing about sounds good. I look forward to getting them tomorrow
Sabbat Ultra. 8-10 hours earbud battery time, USB C and wireless charging, tiny size of earbud and perfect ergonomic design as these sit inside your ear and do not protrude at all. All functions including volume control from buds. Amazing bass with perfect overall sound clarity with extra volume, in just 80 dollars. I am more happy with my ultra

Got the buds, the alexa app I already had it installed on my Note 10. My only real bitch was the micro USB port, but not a big problem their cable is pretty decent and just replaced the cable I was using. As you said noticed almost if no lag when watching youtube. Pre ordered when they were first offered, didn't have a chance do to work to set them up till this morning. I do have a pair of Galaxy Buds and would at first impressions found them on par. Thanks for the review.
A recent firmware update added the ability to control the volume from the buds themselves. Check the settings in the app.
Used them while mowing the lawn and, with the noise reduction turned on, I found that I required less volume to adequately hear music as compared to wired and wireless earphones I have used so far. Bass gets distorted if you try to crank up on the EQ. It's adequate, but not impressive by any means.
What surprised me was the the audio actually brightens and gets crisper when you turn UP the volume....without distorting. 75% is really loud....100% is much too loud. Which is awesome...I'm used to having to crank to 11 on ear buds.
For half the price you can get an Anroog A10. You get 8 hours put of single charge, higher ipx, and it has an aux cable option if you don't have the charger nearby, the bad is yeah its a chunky charge box and micro usb
Now to comment. I agree they are solid, though I feel the sound stage is a bit crowded. I have got to say the mic is really good and noise reduction is very good

Love my Samsung Galaxy Buds but I'm going to purchase these as well for the collection. Loving some of the features on these and for $129.00 I think it's a no brainer. The only question is should I pull the trigger now and get them at full price or should I wait until Black Friday in a few weeks because I'm pretty sure they will be around $100.00. UPDATE: I actually just decided to order these and they will be here on Monday November 4th. I am already seeing and hearing a lot of great things about these. To be totally honest technically speaking they are pretty much the same technology as the brand new Apple Airpods Pro for about half the cost.
Quality review, Gamesky! while I am all about the Amazon universe, I think I can wait for these to go on sale on Black Friday or for Christmas discounts. I am interested however in where you place these in your year's end wrap up report? Thanks

These actually sound good with the two Knowles drivers and function flawlessly for me and at $89 dollars right now they are really hard to beat and the micro USB cable has a dimple on the top of the connector so even in the dark it's as simple as USB-C so not that big of an issue for me .....
And the fact that Amazon let's prime members pay them off with 5 $18 payments makes them easy on the wallet .
They work well with Android , IOS as well as any other Bluetooth device

I just got a pair. I love them. I think your take on them is pretty close to mine. One thing I'd like to correct is that you can set the tap functions to volume up/down. With that said, my biggest gripe is that you can only set two tap settings for each bud: Touch and hold and double tap. So, you have to choose which functions you'll use most often. For me it's muting the mics and previous track on the left along with play/pause and next track on the right. It would be nice if Amazon gave at least one more touch control option such as swiping up or down for volume but to be perfectly honest it's going to be a rare occasion that it won't be convenient for me to toggle the volume from my phone. I also noticed that my voice sounds weird to other people when I use it for calls but not bad enough to gripe too hard about it. I got them mostly for music and most of the time I'm going to use that at work on a very low setting. I agree with you that the audio quality out of the box is impressive. Prior to getting them I had installed an EQ enhancement app, which allowed me to enhance the naturally great sounds of the buds. Since I'm one of those people who had trouble with other ear buds falling out of my ears the wingtips keep them nice and secure at nearly all movements, which also helps the sound out greatly. I also like how they sound dynamic no matter the volume. At work I have it really low in one ear and I can still hear nearly everything clearly. One other thing I'd love them to add is that if you use only one bud that it triggers mono instead of just the left or right channel. It's really interesting listening to bands like Yes which use stereo to full effect in only one ear.
What about the active noise cancellation status? Can it reduces 100% outside noise?

I just got my Echo Buds yesterday and I have to say..I'm extremely impressed! They sound fantastic. I couldn't care less about Alexa....but it's ok to have. But man....the buds are really good. They sound fantastic and they are comfortable. I was NOT expecting the frequency range.
One of the best (budget) wireless earbuds are the xiaomi airdots.

Hey ... there are plenty of folks out there who still have MicroUSB but I agree partly with you they at least should have provided both it and USB-C somehow whether two ports or an adapter.
I ended up exchanging my Jabra 65T for these echo buds. I'll say these are pretty SOLID. I noticed right away the volume to be a tad lower then what I wanted but not a deal breaker. I went into my setting and de synced my volume and then re synced it and I dont know if it's just in my head but I feel like they got a good bit louder!!! May want to give that a try.
I still may exchange these or buy the Jabra 75T and see if I like them better then these and keep one or the other.
They are $90 right now. Just bought mine. Can’t wait to compare them to my first gen AirPods
Great video man! Not just a repeat of what people said yesterday!!! So i guess when you are on a call and you take one of the ear buds out, the call is not silenced? I'm ok with the sacrifices they made if that gave us more quality at a lower price point.

Micro usb make the most sence they are everywhere. Type c isnt youll have to go buy on if you want a different charger

@Nason Sustaita the sound on the tevis is much superior to the echo buds in my opinions. The highs are much cleaner and clearer and the soundstage is wider, and bass is cleaner and more balanced. However, with the echo buds canceling out more noise with the anr and the amazon alexa integration, it will all come down to what you want. Also, bass is much more punchy in the echo buds. I prefer the sound of the tevis, but the functionality and features of the echo buds.

1- Are Echo buds multipoint ? can they connect to two devices at the same time ?
2- you have mentioned that we can use either right or left ear bud separately but i saw a review yesterday that if you use the left ear bud only it will connect but not able to play any music so is this true ? are you able to play music on either left or right ? also are you able to make phone calls on either left or right ?

I like the design. Would of gotten them if it weren’t for the W1 chip and ANC from the AirpodsPro.
They are super useful because they dont have a certain device that has more features and they have Alexa which tbh is better then google and siri

I think $130 is a lot more than Amazon should be asking for. They lack in rich clear bass, no wireless charging or USB-C, touch audio controls & less than 25 hours of playback before needing a charge. $79 is what they should cost in my opinion

I know it isn't really apples to oranges but I was wondering how the noise reduction on these buds compare to the noice canceling on Bose or Sony noise cancelling? In other words, does the bud-like noise isolation + ANR stack up against Sony/Bose ANC?

Affordable , tiny, and sound great. They’re not bose but def solid I’ve had ever g10, g11 Gemini, Gemini Aero, and all great so far. One thing I loved about G11 Gemini’s was that you could use one at a time and once that died you could use the other one so it gave me double the time or use, the Gemini Aeros don’t do that you can use left one by its self but not right one by itself. Otherwise they’re pretty great. Also I’ve left the buds in my pocket through the wash, all thought I wouldn’t recommend it, after I let them dry for a day, they worked. I had last pair a year and a half

I still don’t get why it really matters what kind of charging cable is included...
It matters to people who use 2 or more ecosystem products if your mobile,smart watch,buds etc all have type c you can carry only one wire for charging or instead of two or three wires need to be carried sometimes it's confusing and easy to forget

This literally tick all boxes except that micro usb which really kills it, then again I have a mouse and keyboard that charge through micro so it might not be a problem. This is probably the only eaprbuds that have passthrough that don’t cost $200 (besides galaxy buds)
