      I fell like they would be in the lower/budget range in earbud technology. Great video!👍

      I'm really happy with mine. Jumped on them when they went down to $90 on Sunday. They're still at the reduced price but probably won't be much longer. At that price, I think they're a great deal. I think they sound very good, love the noise reduction and the passthrough. The most recent firmware update to 306714878, which may still be rolling out, added volume control to the touch gestures and seems to have changed the sound profile a bit too to eliminate or lessen the bass fluctuation at different volume levels that you described.
      I grabbed a silicone case for the charging case because so many reviewers mentioned how easily it scratches, and that also keeps it from being slippery.

      Do they have noise cancellation?

    I got a pair last week and I really like them. I did a lot of reading about true wireless buds as well as watched a lot of videos and found them the best bang for buck. The sound is great especially when working in conjunction with a eq enhancement app I'd previously downloaded. I agree with the disappointment in only have two tap functions per ear bud. I would like to have seen at least one more. I had to sacrifice volume control to get track skipping, muting and play/pause. In reality I'm rarely far from my phone for volume control. I do love the proximity sensor because I mostly use them at work. The passthrough function also really helps in that regard as well. I had to put the wingtips on because I've always had the problem of ear buds falling out. With them they're pretty secure. I also haven't figured out the fatigue point where they would begin bothering me. It's at least 4 hours or more. I have to admit that I keep forgetting that they have Alexa because I really have no practical need to use Alexa when I'm away from home. She controls my TV (somewhat) and timers as well as a sound machine while I'm sleeping but not much else. I will say that set up was a breeze because as soon as I opened my phone popped up a message about setting up a new device. After that the Alexa app took over and I had them up and running within a minute or two. You mentioned the case size and I've found that it's not bad. Yes, it's bulkier than the Airpods but since it's rather flat it fits into my pocket really comfortably. One thing I'd like them to add is a battery meter on the case with an active percentage for both the case and headphones. I've seen cheaper models that have this function. At the same time, going into the Alexa app is only mildly inconvenient since as long as the case is green then I'm good for how I use them. One suggestion I can make for Android users, since I don't know if iPhones have such a thing, is to download some sort of EQ app to augment the EQ settings in the Alexa app along with whatever EQ your music player has. I can tell you that it makes the difference with any headset. It helps to fix the slight mid-range sound "issues" that the Echo Buds have. Overall, I highly recommend them.

    Haven't commented on one of your videos before, but I knew about you through El jefe reviews. I have the echo buds and like them. Are your's on software version 306714878? the sound is more balanced in that firmware and they added the option volume control.

    One obvious question you left unanswered is what earbuds in this price range do you like better?

      @itstheBMAC  4 роки тому +1

      I don’t like to mention other brands in my review videos because these are review videos and not comparison videos. Personally, I’d suggest viewers save up money and invest in something higher-end like the Sony earbuds, though. The WF1000XM3s are great.

    I'm curious what firmware version your Buds had when you did your tests. The latest firmware version doesn't have the sound problems that you mentioned and also added volume control to the touch gestures. Mine are currently running version 306714878, which may not have rolled out fully yet.

    • @prestotechreviews8871

      @Erinescence yup, sound is much more balanced in that software version and i got the option of volume control. I got that update I believe about 2 weeks ago.

    You already convinced me NOT to get these when you said 'instant headache' as I too do not like that trapped air feel of in-ear that's why I was skeptical of the Airpods Pro but they solved that by designing vents to let the trapped air out which all in-ears should incorporate in their design (of course Apple complements or couples that with the noise-cancelling feature which may be hard to replicate) and hopefully convert people like me who loathe in-ear headphones.

    • @itstheBMAC

      Ahahahah - I actually meant instant headache in reference to me shaking my head ridiculously fast for a shake test. I'm actually not a huge fan of in-ear earbuds myself, but I have found a few pairs that are perhaps worth the investment - reviews on those coming to the channel soon!
