That's common technique for controller sim racer, me using that alot but very much abusing the left joystick
I'm pretty sure it's easier to go from wheel to controller than the other way around but this is still impressive and the Dualsense Haptic feedback helps quite a lot in racing games.

Max had to play on a controller otherwise no one can beat his lap (other than Esports drivers)

Mexico GP straight is not one of the longest straights, not even close. But it's the high altitude that allows cars to get to super high speeds

@@ryanishungry7409 LVGP straight is 1.9km, the Spa turn 1 to the next braking zone is something like 2.0km, while the Azerbaijan GP straight, including the flat out curves is 2.2km. Bottas set the absolute top speed of 378kph at Baku
You all need to realize that this is a promo... Why would they tell Max to go full out, even when he does these with a real setup, ... Noone would come close xD maybe the top 1% of sim racers xD this applies to any f1 pole sitter ... There's a reason these guys are sitting in f1 cars every week or every other week 😅 PERHAPS this is why they gave him a controller this time, so they didn't have to go for 50 laps and pick out his worse one xD

I have the same problem I did maxs and the Sergio scenario but haven't received anything
From Max's event you get upgrades for the F1 World car and stickers and I think Checo's event you get in 5 days when the scenario ends I had exactly the same
