- Can you drinking alcohol when trying to conceive? What if you drank alcohol before you knew you were pregnant? We all know what's really recommended, absolutely no alcohol while trying to conceive, but so many of our friends and family members drank carelessly while trying to get pregnant or maybe they drank before they even knew they were pregnant. What if trying to get pregnant takes year, months? Should you abstain from alcohol the entire time?
Be sure to test often to see if you are pregnant. I love these easy to use, inexpensive and accurate tests on amazon!

I'll discuss the affects of alcohol on during pregnancy, while trying to conceive, and on fertility in general.
Some questions I'll review:
** Is it safe drink when trying to conceive?
** Should new moms avoid alcohol during two week wait (in between ovulation and your period?)
** What are the affects of alcohol on a fetus?
** Will drinking alcohol negatively affect fertility?
** What if I drank alcohol before I knew I was pregnant?

2 years not drinking, no baby. This summer I drank a bit of lovely Spanish wine every day, and bam! Baby!
Of course😆
Great information! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for your videos i feel so much better about this issue
Glad to hear! I did another one you may like as well. It was specifically regarding drinking before I knew I was pregnant with my second. Check it out
Thanks for ur information it's really helpful for all ..
You bet girl! Thank you for watching!
I remember it was the day of thanksgiving when I took a test and it came back negative, so I enjoyed my thanksgiving. Turned out it was too early and I really was pregnant a week later. Was I pregnant when I drank on thanksgiving, or did I JUST miss the gap of time and actually enjoy my holiday without any guilt?
Hello and thank you for watching. I wouldn’t worry about it since it was still before 4 weeks when you drank. Check out my other video on alcohol and pregnancy. I discuss. The timeline and drinking in early pregnancy.
I have started drinking since I was 13, my drinking go heavy since I left high school in to college.. I am 27now, never once fell pregnant , been with my partner for 2 years now and nothing had happened..I am thinking I could have caused alot of damage in my body and am worried..I have to get checked
You’d be surprised at how much your body can recover. There’s no harm in getting checked. As long as you’re not using drugs or alcohol during your pregnancy you should be OK.
Just wondering how old you are? I am struggling with this issue right now because alcohol for me is purely just to wind down and a sleep aid, so it's been a struggle trying to cut back, yet a want to TTC as soon as possible. I am 30 now but figure this will be a long road
Hello I was 32 in this video. I actually just found I was pregnant again and drink on the weekend so I was super worried. I would just recommend not binge drinking and testing often so you find out right away and can stop. Drinking at 3-4 weeks is typically nothing to be considered about. I spoke with my doctor and tons of trusted advisors.
Thank you for this. I am in the frustrating cycle of TTC. I want to live my life- but I also want a baby. But after 9 months... ugh... idk this is not easy. I’m 31. Breaks my heart how old I’m getting, an entire year down the drain. Blah.
I’m 31 as well and we didn’t get pregnant for 8 months! A couple things I changed the month we got pregnant, I got preseed on amazon AND stayed laying down inside of jumping up to start my workouts after sex. Best of luck to you!
You will be fine I had my daughter when I was 33 and now I’m 37 and I just found out . I’m only 5 weeks tho . But I was drinking beer a lot and I missed my period so I checked bc I stopped drinking immediately, fuk that. No way. So now I’ll be sober lol for 9 months it’s all good lol. When u are not planning it u really have no clue but don’t think u r too old bc u aren’t .
@@helenvalentina2775 ugh i drank before i found out i was preggo too. I drank during the 2 week wait cuz i spotted and thought it was my period 🙃 i stopped of course when i got my bfp. Still worried...
I am 31 too, but it was unbelievably easy for me, considering I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and was told it's gonna be difficult for me. I had really irregular periods. What I did was make sure I am not underweight, visit the gym once or twice a week, and it made my period more predictable. Hence the app I downloaded that predicts ovulation worked quite well. The app is called Clue.
Hoping you can answer this. My gf might be a week pregnant and she was drinking during that week. Is one week too early to affect the bby in any way?
Hello this is really common in unplanned pregnancies, and your baby is probably just fine. I would be upfront with your OB so they can address your concerns. Wishing you the best!
Is the baby okay? same thing happened to me and i'm scared
Dear madam,, I'm from India,I like you very much, can you please tell me that,I stopped drinking alcohol lar two weeks, when I'm trying to get pregnant.. please tell me 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😕
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
I just found out I was pregnant yesterday by a doctor's urine test and I am very concerned as last week my husband and I drank heavily on our vacation with tons of fancy drinks! I believe I am 4 weeks pregnant and I am worrying myself sick wondering if the baby is okay....
I did a ton of research on this, you can definitely worry yourself sick! I would be transparent with your doctor, but I’m sure everything is fine!
How you doing ?
Please give us an update on your baby.
@@CaelaCook Is your baby normal and fine now?
Hello plz guide me . I'm so worried about my baby I drank alcohol this month on and off. We were not planning pregnancy yet. I am 4 weeks 4 days pregnant now I stopped drinking when I found out but I'm so scared about the baby . Should I terminate it??
Hello, the best thing to do is to speak with your doctor. This exact same thing just happened to me and I have a healthy baby girl. Please watch my other video on this topic!
Is your baby normal now?
My boyfriend and I have been drinking na None alcoholic beer and wine
Awesome and nice to hear that he’s joining in the sober fun.😭
Ladies do not drink on your two week wait... It can lead to a miscarriage.
Yes it can, this can be hard for those with irregular cycles and also those who have been Trying to conceive for a long time.
@@CaelaCook yes that's very true. It's a tricky situation to weigh up. But ovulation strips really help!
Is drinking gin too much
Any alcohol should be avoided 😊
Drugs are very dangerous female than men .
Yep
They should all go to jail..locked away for life
?
If your drinking while trying to get pregnant your not ready to get pregnant
interesting perspective. Some women take over a year to conceive....
accidents happen though and you’re forced to be a parent, they’re called blessings
Shut up @kneno . Wish & stay in positivity. Don't be judgmental... your not G.O.D........ fuq outta here with that nonsense 😒🙄🤣😤😂!
There's a lot of things pregnant women are recommended to avoid including drinking, eating sunnyside eggs, sushi, intense workouts, lunch meats/hot dogs, and even unnecessary v@ccin@ti0n$. That's a lot of restrictions for what could take years to happen for some women. Obviously being responsible, taking pregnancy tests to be safe and only consuming in moderation should not be harmful if you're TTC. I can't imagine any women would be a joy to hang out with if she took all those "recommendations" so seriously and she's not even pregnant yet.
What a stupid thing to say 😂 there is life outside of trying
