Great tutorial thanks for the demo. I do a variation of this SC, Ch2, SC into same stitch & use size 8.00mm hook & it creates a scarf or shawl with lot of drape
I'm so glad I accidentally found this stitch😂. I love it. The look of it reminds me of the star stitch without all the drama🤣. Btw, I absolutely love your channel!!! Tyfs God bless you
Hello I really enjoy your videos. There very easy to follow and learn from. I wanted to find out where can I buy one of the black crochet needles you use ? Thank you Jeanine
This seems to be a bit of a different variation on other spider stitch tutorials, nevertheless, I am finding the same problem with each of them, and that if finding that doggone chain space. Is there a way to do a tutorial on just that with this stitch?
I know I’m years late to the party, but I need help, from anyone with the wisdom. I just watched your video on the Wattle stitch, now, I’m trying the Spider, which is similar enough, I feel like I should be able to get it easily, but I don’t understand how you maintain your stitch count… In Wattle, most stitches were worked into the spaces, three of them, but you also skipped 2 stitches, which maintained the stitch count. When I tried to follow along with the Spider stitch, I started with 19 chains, but after one row, since I only skipped on stitch, but still put three in every chain space (I think???), I ended up with 26 stitches… Is that right? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
You’re welcome! For some reason my video editor didn’t recognize the clip when I did the file conversion! It’s the second time it’s happened and I’m not sure why! I’ll have to look into it more and I. The meantime double check the videos :)
I get these ones from Furls Crochet - it’s a wooden streamline in Ebony :) if you check out the description of the video I’ve included a link to their page

Will the stitch look about the same if I ch 2 in v stitch?

My bottom row has holes, what did I do wrong?
What is the yarn you’re using please?
lt nice can you crochet ear warmer this stitch thank you
If I stand corrected 🤔 the stitch goes in between the v stitch right!
Sofia Copado the V stitch is made by going into the middle of each of the V stitch below, not between them. 💖
@@lbessinger thank you 🌹
Sofia Copado, you’re welcome! There are also other ways to make the V stitch but I like the simple ones, like this!
@@dorisb6364 glad I was not the only one thinking this Doris ❤
@@lbessinger Do you mean in the ch1 SPACE? As in, NOT under the ch1 v on the top of the stitch?
Ty for redo i love it

@@RichTexturesCrochet things happen you fixed it and ill speak for us all were happy you did i hope you get it ironed out huggs
Lovely pattern and simple. I love the yarn you use for a lot of your tutorials, including this one. It's shiny and looks soft. What kind is it?
I was actually going to ask the same exact question??!! What kind of yarn is it??!! Its amazing I love how it always looks so shiny!!!! 😲😍
thankyou very much
You’re very welcome :)
I love this version of the V stitch! Would using a larger hook make it a little less dense?
It might! You could certainly try it!
Have a question. Where do you get your hooks from? I would like to get some. Thank you God Bless
I get these ones from Furls Crochet - it’s a wooden streamline in Ebony :) if you check out the description of the video I’ve included a link to their page
Every time I try this stitch, it spirals instead of laying flat and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have any advice?
First I would try using a larger crochet hook to see if it has to do with tension
@@RichTexturesCrochet thanks! I'll give that a shot.
I'd like to know the mark of your croche needle.
Where can I buy?
