I'm in heaven? Everything about that engine is cool. Saitos are still on top after all these years. I was just a boy when I first saw one. Guy had it in a Goldberg Anniversary Cub full wing painted like a L4 grasshopper. The smell and the sound made that engine stand out from all the rest. Do you remember your first Saito experience??
Very cool story yes I remember my first Saito experience my dad flew a sig cap 231 EX arf with a Saito 180 on the front. The sound and beautiful looks of that engine is what kicked of my Saito bug 😉

@millerrc5829 wow life is funny sometimes. You just showed me the exact plane I was crazy over as a kid. This scheme was by far my favorite. I grew up flying caps. All the different ones over the years I tried to own. The ones worth owning of course. The last one was the hangar 9 cap 232 Saito 180 on 30 percent helicopter fuel. You brought back some memories today dude. I always wanted a cap 10 but never had the opportunity to own one. Started at a cap 21 for me and moved up from there. Thanks for posting that
@@alwaysflying6540ya it was a great plane it met its demise unfortunately I was turning final for landing, got to slow and stalled it in. If one shows up in a swap meet or rc groups somewhere I’d pick it up.
