Yeah, the orange habenero i grow in my garden has been my pinnacle. Tried a ghost and a reaper....couldn't do it. Had to spit them out cause I was almost having breathing problems and just plain old agony. Guess I've got a long road to go to get to JS status.

No mortal you clearly haven't been to Mexico 😂😆 seriously local Mexicans would smoke this guy I got a friend of mine down at Tijuana he probably could do the challenge I seen him eat a jar of ghost before and he ate them s*** like Skittles when I went to Mexico I couldn't even take two bites of his regular salsa and my limit is ghost pepper which I could handle decently but not greatly and here's a fun fact even though they say the Carolina reapers the strongest pepper in the world I kind of disagree on that because there are ghost peppers in Mexico that are stronger than USA ghost peppers and reapers everything is stronger in Mexico when it comes to chili like a jalapeno is three times hotter than the ones here in the USA for some reason

@@retrowave9536 Have him record a video of him doing the challenge. Talk is cheap. Can other people do what Johnny does? Of course. But Johnny records it for everyone to see and there's no faking it. And of the people who do hot peppers on youtube, he handles it better than 99% of them. He's a machine. Not saying there aren't other people out there, including down in Mexico, who can eat pods like this, but there aint many who can eat peppers this hot and not wind up in the E.R.

Johnny eats the spiciest peppers in the world on a daily basis and records it, so unless those local Mexicans do the same I doubt they could come close to this.
I used to work with a group of Mexican immigrants and they wouldn’t even eat a habanero. They do like spicier food than the average American, but I don’t think it’s common for them to munch on ghost peppers like they are skittles.
Also, peppers aren’t spicier because they come from Mexico. I’ve had plenty of peppers that were grown there and they are no hotter than the ones I grow in my yard. A hot pepper is going to be hot no matter where it is grown. Some peppers on a plant will be hotter or less hot than others, but that applies in Mexico too.
@@chaytonhurlow840 have you been to Mexico? There's a difference from the ones they send through Us customs and the one's there just like ganja is illegal in US but marijuana is legal in a lot of states ganja and marijuana are different same with the peppers

I’ve heard him say he doesn’t get abdominal cramps after eating peppers, but gets the initial “cap cramps”. I am at the point I don’t get cramps from habaneros...but anything hotter has me sitting on the toilet all day long 🤣

Just seeing you push yourself like many of us chili heads have to do with lesser peppers and pods. It also makes me really respect this pepper. I know a lot comes from where and how they are grown and cultivated.. so whomever gave you those has a real talent for growing heat. I'm impressed and entertained! I would love an update after a failed challenge like this to see how you felt the next few hours and if it did anything to your stomach, because I have never seen you react like this

Today, my buddy showed up with some peppers. I ate one of his reapers. It was a ripper, but manageable. Ate a primotali, and it sent me into panic mode. I'd have to agree with you in saying it is indeed the hottest pepper in the world.
Its so crazy that even now after years of watching these videos of the 🤴 himself who I love like an older brother. A man who has taken time out of his day many many times to answer my emails.....I love seeing you get rocked Johnny. Not to see you suffer, but rather to see you push through. I couldn’t even finish eating one entirely ! Very earthly flavor and yes the heat is instant and lingers for quite awhile! Def hotter then the reaper!! Thank you for your advice on opening the peppers first I have had a few moldy seed surprises. And they looked healthy and amazing.

By the thumbnail alone, we can all see you put yourself through the wringer. Even if you couldn't finish this time, somebody of your tolerance still managed to go beyond what most would consider reasonable. As many others here have said, that's a win in of itself.
