- Hi, wltoys 12428/12429 owners,
I believe you do know that steering is not perfect in those models, and here is the ultimate solution to resolve all the issues ;)

What you need as an extra
Two M3 bolts 13mm long from suspension (if you plan to change the stock) or search on Aliexpress by "M3 12428-0099", I used this - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlK...
Two M 2.5 20mm bolts and two nuts. I used from there
bolts - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DCh...
nuts - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DmJ...
Good to have:
thread locker (I used a blue one)
print a model for vertical suspension (the current design should work with horizontal, but I didn't test it that way)
Please don't forget to like the video - so I would know that this model is useful.
Thanks in advance!

Please be aware - I've uploaded "enforced" files for the plate and long crank - after a few crashes, it appears that those parts need more strength ;)
Nice work! I'll print it out soon and try it out.
Thanks!!! if any questions please let me know and don't forget to share your results;)
Come back and leave a comment on how the parts work.
If you were to do another redesign, you might consider using brass bushings in the plastic where the screws go through the printed parts.
Hi. Thank you for feedback. I'll try to do them! Which filament did you use?
@@LeoRcCars All that’s offered is PLA. I was able to push bushings into the larger holes in the short links. I don’t know if that’s what you intended, but they fit. I think where you need to allow for them too is in the connecting link. The ends would need to be beefier/ more substantial to do that.
@@kodak_jack yes. Big M3 bolts 13mm long from suspension should be pushed into big holes. For the links the holes is smaller since it would make additional friction that I wanted to avoid. I printed in PETG. Hope it will last long you will be happy with this mod ;)
Very nice. Thanks for sharing! Can you also include an STL file version?
Yes, sure give me some time...
Done;)
@@LeoRcCars I have a local library printing the parts for me.
@kodak_jack how much did they take for the print?
@@LeoRcCars I just dropped the files off a couple of days ago. I’ll find out soon and post the amount as a reference for others.
