Loved the tour. When you got to the big trees it was sad that the gentleman passed but nice that his trees will live on with a family that will take care of them and enjoy them. I hope that part of the garden takes on his name. Such a marvelous backstory. I garner a great deal of joy from you videos and cannot thank you enough for sharing.
OMG!! @11:22!! That combination is great for sunny and drier areas..... Nice job! It amazes me that you don't go into detail in designing your borders- you just go for it. I need to be a bit less controlling in my designing.
The trees are so beautiful. You have a lot of fall color. Your roses are beautiful too. I like the idea of cut flowers and roses being dotted around and in smaller areas as a cut flower garden. Lovely spaces.
How about planting the espalier pear tree against the back of the flower shed? Keeps all the fruit trees together and still allows for plenty of sun. 🍐🌳😉
😍The south garden is such a beautiful tapestry of colour, texture and form 😍 my favourite highlights are putting the containers of annuals in the borders, which gives additional high, colour and sweet little focal points of interest which I really love. Also, I love the blue foliage which gives a lovely pop of colour in the borders and helps to break up the green. I will definitely be adding some blue evergreens to my garden now. My favourite plants though are definitely the Julia Child standard tree roses which look incredible FOR OCTOBER!!😮 I have never seen tree roses look so beautiful - not even in David Austin's own garden in Shropshire, England! Considering how harsh the weather has been this year, you should all give yourselves a big pat on the back, as the gardens and grass look INCREDIBLE! Well done guys! 👌👏👏👏👏👏
Love the colors in a fall garden, especially the roses and the trees. I think God looks down at you two and thinks "now that's a marriage made in heaven." 2 people who have their own areas of expertise but have such a love of gardening!! It's just lovely to see! Always fun to listen to the back and forth.
So many stand outs in this tour. The dream stream, the red in the gardens and certainly the huge trees. I’m hoping that another pondless goes in by the house, and in the south garden!
It is rather sad that the gentleman from the tree farm passed away, but these trees have been given the right place to be, with an amazing family and team to take care of them and enjoy them. Ultimately, that must have been (beyond a business goal), the purpose of that gentleman when he started the farm, to have people caring and enjoying those trees. Much love from Portugal ❤
These videos are looking wonderful. When I heard “tour” I sent it over to my 65” TV screen and wow, I couldn’t believe how good it looked. What a Fall it’s been; those trees just take one’s breath away.
Aaron's humour is so enjoyable... I am with him about the Geraniums 😂😂😂 I have a love-hate relationship with them 😂 Love them at their peak, hate them the rest of the time!!! The dream stream is really a spectacular piece of landscaping. Those chaps are so talented & just an awesome bunch to watch work their hearts out!!
Why don’t you move the giant black square containers in the cut flower garden to the front entrance of your property? This would pay homage to when they were originally planted up at the old entrance to your property (next to the hay rack fence). They would bring some color to the entrance of your property without having to plant a mass of annuals in the ground like you did this year.
Thank you for taking the time to make these long videos. They bring such joy and knowledge to us all. It is definitely eye candy, also. The love a lot of us have for gardening, family, nature, and creatures ... has all of us loving your channels and never missing a video.

OMG!! @11:22!! That combination is great for sunny and drier areas..... Nice job! It amazes me that you don't go into detail in designing your borders- you just go for it. I need to be a bit less controlling in my designing.
Definitely loving the Aaron involvement of the tour! Love the banter between you two. 👏👏
The trees are so beautiful. You have a lot of fall color. Your roses are beautiful too. I like the idea of cut flowers and roses being dotted around and in smaller areas as a cut flower garden. Lovely spaces.
That chamomile peeping thru the snow, and of course, Douglas! So precious! ❤
How about planting the espalier pear tree against the back of the flower shed? Keeps all the fruit trees together and still allows for plenty of sun. 🍐🌳😉
The fall color of the hydrangeas mixes so well with the others…don’t move. On the iPad,the colors are perfection.
Gosh, everything looks so pretty! The Supertunia are astounding! And the colors of the hydrangea behind them are gorgeous. ❤
ALL IS VERY BEAUTIFUL #NOT A DAY WITHOUT JESUS 🙏
Love the colors in a fall garden, especially the roses and the trees. I think God looks down at you two and thinks "now that's a marriage made in heaven." 2 people who have their own areas of expertise but have such a love of gardening!! It's just lovely to see! Always fun to listen to the back and forth.
So many stand outs in this tour. The dream stream, the red in the gardens and certainly the huge trees.
I’m hoping that another pondless goes in by the house, and in the south garden!
Loved the tour, thank you for the updates. Love how Aaron managed to keep up with you Laura 😂 You are both so knowledgeable about the plants x
I don't have any luck with them, next time am going to try from seeds
Why don’t you move the giant black square containers in the cut flower garden to the front entrance of your property? This would pay homage to when they were originally planted up at the old entrance to your property (next to the hay rack fence). They would bring some color to the entrance of your property without having to plant a mass of annuals in the ground like you did this year.
Like the tour better with the added discussion between you both.
Thank you for taking the time to make these long videos. They bring such joy and knowledge to us all. It is definitely eye candy, also. The love a lot of us have for gardening, family, nature, and creatures ... has all of us loving your channels and never missing a video.
Aahhh, my soul needed a beautiful fall garden tour.
Looking at the beautiful Roses-reminds of a variety called “iceberg”. (White)And they flower spring through summer and then again in october. Very good Rose
I have an agave that’s near 20 years old and it bloomed 2 years ago. The bloom was 12’ tall and I cut my bloom and it’s still kicking.🎉
It is such a pleasure when you do tours together; it give me a comforting feeling to take the tour with both of you. It makes everything feel so much more home like. Thank you, you do beautiful work!
is it just me or is Aaron HILARIOUS - " do you feel like you talk about how the geraniums are looking tired in every tour" hahaha!!!
Would love to have videos of how you prepare all the beautiful perennials for winter. What, when and how you cut them back, for example - roses, lavenders, salvia, echinacea, and grasses just to name a few! Thank you for all you do to inform and entertain. Your gardens, streams and most of all family are beautiful. ❣️🙏
