Sits like an angle grinder with long shaft. Very useful with wire brush mounted for wood renovation applications 👍

Gracias Alvaro! Ademas le da un monton de historia pues esa madera tiene mas de 200 años y procede de la família. Poco a poco vamos avanzando 😉

    Duuude!
    ASMR for tradies! ... brilliant...
And: looked up how to remove dry rot on old beams - spot on.
...I am clearly missing the Far(out)tool in my enterprise. Back to hand wire brushing, then.....😭

hey .. i was surprised to see the lintel sagging in the middle .. should it not have been arched upwards? .. so utilising its natural spring? ...

oh looks awesome, aren t you afraid that those notches at the top will collect water and damage that lintel ?

I'm not for two reasons. First one, I rely on the Lasur finish I applied. It's water resistant and repellent. This kind of finish hold very well and doesn't seal the wood so no need to sand between coats or when you need to refresh the finish every 5 years. Second, after we apply monocoat acrylic mortar on the wall the lintel will be less exposed by its sides as we increase the wall thinness. I hope I've explained it well to you. Best regards!

Would have been nice to see how you took the lintel out and put it in otherwise a pointless video as most people know how to sand and paint wood 😮

It's called "oak beam restoration" not "how to replace a lintel"
