Hunted Pipeline area twice this year. Very thick woods and hard to find a pine tree I can climb. Too thin. Looking at Google Earth and using the sliding year scale, it reveals that just about every section gets clearcutted within a 25 year period. Makes for good deer habitat but tough hunting. Not complaining though. I am blessed. I will spend some time out there during small game season looking for areas that are slightly more open with trees mature enough to safely climb. Got to be out there somewhere.
Trying to learn the pipeline unit myself, I had the deer permit and nothing like getting stuck in muddy water on a cold morning. My son & I have a turkey permit and it seems like a lot more scouting
Another great video, thanks brother. God Bless
Appreciate you, brother.

Sometimes the best hunts are with no harvest!
Some times, but I'll keep going in hopes of a little more. Thanks for the insperation and support.
I went to SW GA on the 26th and got hammered by that front, but it was nice afterwards. Unfortunately noting was moving...
It happens, the weather changes fast in the South.
