Nomad, looks like you had an Amazing time with your Daughter. Very cool video. Thank You for sharing. So much to learn, in the nooks and crannies of the Pioneer Days.
Thank you for the vid and the great memories! I moved to Atlanta at 16 years old in 1948 while Atlanta was in its heyday of activity. My parents ran the only gas station, along with a restaurant and bar named The Bank Club, directly across the road from The Hub, another restaurant and bar with pool tables. Two mines worked around the clock pulling out rich gold ore 7 days a week. we had around 200 families living in Atlanta in those fun days. Any old-timers still around from those days? Love to hear from you right here! thank you for indulging an old man!
My Great Great Grandad founded the first town in Valley County Idaho in 1883, Van Wyck. We have a family gravesite Crown Point Cemetery right next to Lake Cascade.
I grew up relatively near there, and would go to summer camp near Anderson Ranch Reservoir when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time in the area, Pine, Featherville, etc. Fun fact, the water level in Anderson used to be a lot higher until I swallowed a ton of it trying to water ski…
Pretty cool lil tour ....thanks
Love this video! Thanks for taking us on your adventure with your daughter

Thanks for watching. I'm not sure if there are any old timers...but it is a wonderful place.

Neat place. We hunt just outside of there. Really good hunting country and super people too.
Peaceful place….would be nice to go here someday

I may go again this year and I will look for it, thanks.
Alot of times the original head stones were wood and rotted away. I saw this at Custer, Idaho.
Thats a chamberpot in the recreated log home
Criminals go there to hide out.
