For you Confused people saying why the title has Linkin Park in it: Mike Shinoda (From Linkin Park) was originally asked to be guest vocals, but Shinoda was unable to provide vocals for the song as he was recording the album Meteora with his band, instead Paul McCoy, from 12 Stones, was asked Copy and past to keep at the top.

its actually Ben Moody (i think thats his name) he was in evanescence for the first cd before he got sick on the euro tour. he left after that. hence why the newer version released of the song (and concert versions) to not have the male part. (...left in the dark but you weren't there to follow me... etc)
This song is amazing. And the music video is interesting. I like...love it. Hehe. Though the song is 'Wake Me Up' by Evanescence. Not Bring me to life.....:)
thanks cuz im a big lp fan and my friends where arguin with me mike was in it and im lik no! but they were stubborn, so now i can explain to dem wat happened =]
Look everybody, this is not Linkin Park. Mike was originally signed up to do the part. But he dropped out due to some conflict. Instead, Evanescence brought in Paul McCoy from the band 12 stones. He is the one you hear. As awesome as it would be to have Linkin Park in this song, they played no part in the recording.
I think I know why the op got a mix up, I read this on another video: In a magazine interview, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park said that Mike Shinoda was originally asked to be featured on the song. Linkin Park was recording Meteora in the same studio that Evanescence was recording Fallen. Maybe the op got thier wires crossed and thought Mike was in the song?
Hey guys could you stop saying its not Linkin Park, we already know that its Paul McCoy from 12 Stones... Linkin Park WAS SUPPOSED TO SING THIS SONG, but they were working on Meteora at the time. So Evanescence asked 12 Stones to sing instead.
Per WIKIPEDIA...."Mike Shinoda (of linkin'park) was originally asked to be guest vocals, but Shinoda was unable to provide vocals for the song as he was recording the album Meteora with his band, instead McCoy was asked." So yes, Linkin' Park had a tale in this song, just not the actual vocals.....
people get confused because mike was supposed to sing in this song. Mike however was too busy with his own recordings at the time. 12 Stones then took the spot. But as people accurately state, this isnt linkin park.
Exactly what I keep telling everyone! If the person who put this up was actually a fan of Linkin Park, they would know that this isn't them! Its the 12 Stones vocalist...Though I forget what his name is cause I haven't said it in a while.
to settle the arguments this song was originally called Bring me to Life by the band but later some people started calling it Wake Me up Inside so if you wanna go by only the band then its brng me to life but if you want to go by the fans then you might chosoe wake meup inside and if your like me and dont really care wich it is then ....yeah
For all of you who want to know the whole stor.Yes it's just Paul not 12 Stones. The band is Ev.When this song was being edited and all that crap for the Daredevil soundtrack the record company and Evanescence thought it would be better to have male vocals in the song becuase of the story plot and stuff of the movie. Paul McCoy(who's band 12 Stones was on the same record label as Evanescence)told them "hey If you can't find anyone else I'll do it" so when they didn't he sang the song.
It's pointless to argue with someone who's been a fan since 2003. I know it's not Linkin Park. Lol and you can see on the music video that it's actually Paul McCoy and not Mike or Chester or anyone else from Linkin Park :D And you can hear it too :D And if you'd like, you can read it on the actual cd if you even have Fallen...
sorun yok (=
