im also replacing the drive belt on my dads 2015 mule pro-fxt. thanks for the video. yours is the only one out there right now.one question. the cage or basket that holds the primary clutch in place, after removing the basket , does the clutch slide rite out ?
Did something happen to cause you to change the belt? I have a mule pro fx and I've pulled 6x10 dump trailer with creek rock and towed several other trailers and no problems at all with anything on it
You can remove just the primary to remove the belt. Just have to pull primary and angle it towards the secondary. Make sure the o rings in the "gear" on the engine are in good shape. Clean and regrease with a good waterproof grease. Don't forget to clean and regrease the bearing in the aluminum carrier too😊.
Does your Kawasaki Pro FX have a centrifgual clutch CVT design? Its the type used to keep constant belt tension and natural engine braking instead of a "belt slammer" design like Polaris uses..thanks..I know the Teryx has the centrifugal system now for the v twin engines.
If I understand you correctly there are no special tools for the primary clutch removal? I have wiggled and pulled and pulled and have not been able to remove the clutch. It seems to move a couple of MM's but I can't seem to get it off. Thanks
can anyone tell me where to locate the oil filter on a Kawasaki Mule Pro. Looked but cant find it. Trying to change the oil and filter and don't really just want to start pulling things apart.
Got lucky did t have to take primary off just secondary and rotated the primary with the belt until it slide off in the center of clutch housing

Yes it slides right out. You will have to pull and wiggle a little bit but it comes out with little effort.
I have a mule and I'm trying to change the belt and I'm having a hard time

It was jerky when I would take off, so I replaced it mainly to get the jerkiness to go away, but also to have a backup belt.
How many hours or miles did you get out of the original belt

There is only about 4mm of clearance between the secondary clutch and the aluminum housing I don't think the belt will fit through that opening.

my bad....you are correct. I just removed the primary, left the belt on the secondary.

You are correct it is a CVT design. Good engine braking.

No special tools required. I used an Impact wrench for the reverse threaded bolt on the secondary.

Under the seat passenger side. At the bottom of the fuel sending unit in the tank
Still didn't show nothing, the audio sounded like my videos, poor
