FYI: Cronal and Shadowspawn were one and the same. As for Sukatee's audience with those four Sorcerers of Rhand? They sound like a Givin, a Shi'ido, a Swoke-Swoke, and a melanistic Gamorrean with too many pet morrts.
Excellent deep dive into Soccerer's of Rhand. The finer details explained always make for the best most interesting lore videos.Tbh Ive only just discovered them, and as a Mando follower their Taung , Warriors of shadow connection fascinates me. Yeah as you explained their forms Darth Nihilus sprang to mind. Definitely he must've had some kind of knowledge on them, as he was already a Sith practitioner before he became Nihilus. He became like world eating dark side wraith. I'm thinking same as you, he must've had previous insights into Sorcerers of Rhand before his planet was destroyed. The absolute death , destruction and decay of his planet. His rage and grief at everything and everyone he ever cared for gone. I think all combined was his ultimate catalyst and accension. The grief of absolute loss, created absolute and unnatural hunger in him. The dark side created a monster that sorcerer's of Rhand would of been in awe of I'm sure. Though how literally a few Jedi and one Jedi master took down what was already spirit attached to a mask and black robes, I don't know how she , they did that. Any lore videos Ive seen on it, details are vague, sketchy at best.
Mitra was a wound in the Force, thus when Nihilus tried to feed on her it rebounded and he fed upon himself. That was how she was able to beat him, but it's worth noting he wasn't completely defeated. His essence remained in his mask, which was the centerpiece of a ttrpg campaign
@@DarthMatusHolocron Ahhh ok that makes sense. I hadn't heard that til you just told me Yeah I had little to no information on their battle before. Yeah I heard his mask is like one of the most coveted Sith artifacts in the galaxy. It's rumoured to be so powerful most don't want to even touch it, for fear of being burdened with the curse of Nihilus.
Lol oh yes. The teachings of the Sorcerers influenced some of the worst Star Wars villains including Sidious, Kreia, and Nihilus as well. They are not to be trifled with
Idk abeloth is more or less the epitome of what a randite would like to achieve. She is the physical manifestation of chaos and entropy she would be the embodiment of the dark.
I actually have a script for them ready! Once I finalize some stuff next few weeks I should be back to videos, but got my focus elsewhere at the moment. Glad you enjoyed the video! Stick around, I WILL be back eventually, and I will have more goodness with me when I return
Great description, Sir. Since hearing about them, a few years ago, I'm fascinated by their unique relation to The Force. With their lengthy, shadowy history, I wonder if their Dark Alchemy could've influenced creations like The Nameless and The Drengir (during the time of The High Republic); and if they could have any dealings with The Prophets Of The Dark Side and The Acolytes Of The Beyond, during the time of The Original Trilogy and the period depicting The Mandoverse. I truly want this order to be a major threat in the galaxy, decades after the events of the horribly written and rendered Sequel Trilogy. May The Force Be With You...
Check out Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor! It deals with them tangentially. Also Darth Nihilus in KOTOR II is almost surely the actualization of their concept of becoming one with the Dark, and he threatened the wider galaxy!
You def should dive in! Its easily my favorite lore, so many cool concepts and great stories. Im glad you enjoyed the video, hope you enjoy the EU the same!
Not exactly, but we do see two Jedi with similar abilities. Master Fay was so powerful in the light side she became immortal. Likewise Master Wyllet from SWTOR; he no longer had to eat food or drink and stopped aging
Sharp eye. Nihilis was indeed taught using Rhandite philosophy. The Trayus Academy contained their teachings. He wasnt exactly the same, more a twisting of their philosophy, but Kreia used the Sorcerers of Rhand to make Nihilis. Lord Shadowspawn from Shadows of Mindor also learned under the Sorcerers, and Palpatine studied their ways. This is why Papa Palps is described always as "a black hole in the Force"
@@DarthMatusHolocron thank you for that. Very interesting details. As a suggestion I would like to see you do some videos on factions, outside of the Jedi, that used the light side of the force.
@@paulharmon8947 you're very welcome! I have done a few videos just like that, and just released a video on the Baran Do! Check my Force Orders of the Galaxy Playlist, there are several light side orders outside the Jedi in there, and more on the way!
Not really. They don’t really seem to want to spread their carnage. They don’t really seem to be concerned with spreading entropy as far and wide as possible. They appear to focus more on connecting with and being able to manipulate it rather than cause it.
It's an open question, they don't seem to do much but again, sources are limited. They are twisted in ways that likely surpass the Sith orders throughout history, but they appear very insular, at least for now. Not a problem unless you deliberately seek them out, but probably worse to meet.
I find it disturbing that these insignificant insects dare to claim the dark side as their own . The Dark Side ( and everything else in existence ) belongs to the Sith , no others hold claim to it . Death , destruction and domination are the right of the Sith Order only !!!!!

Spoilers bro! Lol but yeah maybe they were once those species. Now they are puppets of the dark side, most likely as batshit insane as Shadowspawn was
@@DarthMatusHolocron Sad...but probably true. 😐
The Sorcerers of Rhand would make a far better sequel trilogy than all of Disney combined.
The fact we are getting a Rey movie after the Rey trilogy

Also sometimes refered to as "Legends".

I never knew the Ghost Council of Obzedat from magic the gathering had dealings with the sith. Maybe Hasbro will do a crossover set.

A little bit similar to both Faction Paradox (without time travel) and the Black Guardian from Doctor Who 😈🤩😎😉💪 (I'm a fan of both SW and DW 💯😊)
