  • Hey all, today is Feb. 20th, 2022 and I am in the garage testing out my Harbor Freight drill press for the first time! I recently picked up some hivetop bucket feeder plugs from NaturesImageFarm.com and I need to drill some 50mm holes in the lids of my buckets. Don't go anywhere until the end, I may have an easter egg you dont want to miss!!

I'd like to know where you got the buckets for $1. I'd also like to know how big the holes are that you drill in the tint plugs.

The hole is 49mm, the buckets i get from my local Walmart bakery. They are frosting containers. Use the ones with snaps all around, 8 in total, the ones with 4 snaps leak a little more.

How big are the holes in the tint plug?

1/16th drill bit. Place as many as you think is necessary. The thinner, the less you want to make, the thicker the more you want to make.

Nature's Image Farm, If memory serves me, Bob bought them from Greg. I could be wrong though.

Just go to Harbor Freight and by a 50mm hole saw. It will be a lot easier.

Perhaps, but there's a lot of extra movement with a hand drill, and that could cause leakage.

@@AmericansBee put it in the drill press like you are doing now.
