  • Watching the Alex Jones testimony about the phone records was like watching a train heading full speed off a cliff. My jaw nearly hit the floor multiple times. I can only imagine how the jury reacted. I hope the attorneys for Alex Jones immediately got in touch with their malpractice liability carrier. Thank you so much to the Law & Crime channel for your great coverage.

    I saw the court proceedings AFTER Jones’ questioning and the two attorneys explained to the judge how these documents ended up in the family’s counsel’s possession. Jones’ attorney sent the wrong link to some share file or something along those lines. You should also watch that for more context. It’s kinda crazy.

      The defense was quick to file an emergency motion, in which they got their butts handed to them for not following civil procedure. I plan to do another video about that hearing. The link showed so many things well beyond the case - medical records from other cases, texts from Roger Stone about the Capitol riot, and so much more. And apparently, this isn't the first time the defense counsel has done this, and shared links outside their organization containing HIPAA-sensitive data. They should have taken my Microsoft 365 training. I could have saved them millions, lmao 😆. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate you!

      Glad you enjoyed the video! I think I'm going to do another one for the emergency motion the defense filed. They basically got their butts handed to them because they didn't follow civil rules of procedure justifying the motion. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate you always!

    Does this last-minute phone dump by the defendant's lawyers without identifying anything as privileged definitely constitute malpractice? If the defendant's lawyers committed malpractice, what can the defendant do in such a case?

    • @ArrowConsultants_MistyMurray
      @ArrowConsultants_MistyMurray  Рік тому +2

      Yes, it most certainly constituted malpractice. The defense attorneys had a duty to protect the integrity of the data and a duty to protect their client, of which they failed on both fronts. According to the defense, it was their legal assistant who shared a link full of info that should have never been disclosed, including medical records from other cases. The production went so far beyond what was asked in the Interrogatories and Request for Production of Documents. The Defendant should seek the counsel of a legal malpractice attorney and preserve his rights to file suit. I can guarantee the law firm representing the defense has already reported to their malpractice carrier. However, in order to win his case, Alex Jones will have to prove the outcome of the defamation case would have been better or avoided altogether had the defense attorneys not disclosed his entire phone records. It will be years before we see the conclusion to something like that. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate you!

    Loved watching this from your viewpoint as a paralegal. Previously just enjoyed this repulsive individual’s mendacity being publicly and legally exposed.
