My wife was watching Selling Sunset and as I walk by I see Graham Stephan randomly seemingly so out of place during the argument but it was so awesome.
Bro! you were the star in this show...I was watching the show with my girlfreind and cracked up in that scene where they all break down and start drama...you're just in the middle of it with a big smile on your face! gold. hahaha
Yes this!! Really interesting and the one thing I dont like about the show on netflix is they mostly gloss over the actual business side of things. I would love to learn more! Graham has many wonderful video's, but both of you together are also great!
I feel like Grahams' piercing gaze is staring into my soul watching this. Great video and loved the Netflix series. Hoping they come through with a second season
Graham, here's some feedback. This format (two side by side) is tough on you. Jason bounces his eyes to communicate ease. You are staring into the camera for literally 8+ soundless minutes. It would have been a better choice if you shot in profile! This is a 14:46 video, and should have a more relaxed, conversational look and feel. Just a thought.
Unfortunately, I am surprised Jason Oppenheim has something down to earth and wise to say. Maybe that’s because I’ve watched Selling Sunset. This would be some good stuff to put on Selling Sunset. That show is so filled with arrogance and shallowness. This is actually interesting.
Once you realise Graham is in nearly every episode and never got a single line in the edit, you realise you and the production team are both right at the same time.
I seriously respect Jason Oppenheim. I find him to be so supportive to the people around him, very smart and level-headed, and as a female who watched Selling Sunset I found Jason to be the person I looked up to. And the way he speaks highly about other people is something to be learned!
Jason and his twin brother both seem so chill and humble in the show. The way they interact with their employees is also great because they are always there for them and not that strict or mean at all
I love the baby steps tip! I dream big and want to take leaps when I should start with baby steps. Also loved how sweet the two of you are to the dog! It's great to see successful people who are good natured!
My only question, how much of the fighting in the show was scripted haha and are those brokers really like that IRL Graham :P also love Jason in the show, all business straight down the line. Also the respect he has for your hustle Graham, very admirable
i really wish the netflix show should have focuse more on this kind of conversation with audience really knowing real estate more than really having these very beautiful girls and focus on the drama. i know its for ratings, but i think we can strike a balance between really educational and entertainment. i love selling sunset but purely because of the drama entertainment nothing more
I sent this link to my cousin who's a a struggling real estate agent. He refuses any advice people give him so I'm hoping you two can knock some sense into him.
Really hoping for a second season. Listening to Jason's journey and hearing about his hustle would make a MUCH better storyline than following the other characters on the show. This would rival Million Dollar Listing especially since Jason and Brett are waayyy more likable than the other guys.
love this! im a huge fan of the show and it's refreshing to see reality TV stars in another light. please do interviews with the entire cast please! especially christine!
I know this was from season 1 but I didn't see it then 😂 Honestly Jason in season 2 melts my heart. I truly saw what a great guy he is to everyone around him. So glad to know more about his past and truly understand why he is the way he is 😘 he's such a great guy. Also liked the small Graham cameos this season 😂 can't wait for season three 🍾
I like it when you see someone who is very successful, and then you learn that they worked hard to get where they are. It is the ones that have made it by luck or family money that I don't have any time for. This guy paid his dues.
I’m so glad you did a video with him! I’ve watched the series and I really wished they would have shown more of Jason and Brett. I also can’t get over how you were in some heated scenes😂 definitely not the Graham I watch on UA-cam😅
Hey mate I have my own car dealership in Australia. I'm also a Professional Boxer and I must say I am so close to giving it all up and moving to LA to start selling entry level real estate. It has always been MY DREAM at 28 years of age I need make that move. This video just made my move even closer. Thanks Jason.
Perfect example that you shouldn't work because of the money. The Passion kept him going because he wanted to do that. Not because it paid out in a short timeframe.
lol before watching him on selling sunset, i watched him in cnbc millenial money and the way he was shown in the show is so gentle and not like his youtube channel. I guess graham knows when to speak and appropriate time for him to just chill and listen
My wife was watching selling sun set and i saw a familiar face on the pool party episode, and i go like "i know that dude, he's a real estate agent". Good work on yt Stephan, really good quality and educative content. I'm a real estate valuator from Bucharest, Romania.
Heck yea!! Loved this interview. Interviews like this make you feel like your having a direct conversation with someone super successful that you wouldn’t normally be able to talk to. Would love to see you interview his brother!
I need to watch their own reality show with them as the focus because these brothers fascinate me and how they think and move. much more interesting than office drama.
So I buy and sell. I rent out two homes of mine and flip couple. my hubby told me to get my license and I would be good at it.. I never thought of it. I’m a social-worker and I just do the buy and sell on the side.. however I made more money on selling then I ever did on my 9/5.. I’m a little scared. But maybe it will be a good thing..
OMG I watched both seasons and I see you getting your party on chilling in the pool!!! When I saw you I was like MOMMY I KNOW HIM!! I watch all of his videos on UA-cam LOL!!
So I’ve been wondering since watching the show what does the Openheim group do? Like clearly the sell property and they create an office space for real estate agents to collaborate but does Jason take a cut of the commissions or something?
Matthew Courtney a year late but anyways: probably, since agents get around 3.5% of the sold value in commission, and the group basically bankrolls the marketing costs that are later paid back when the property sells.
Im a big fan Graham...Loved the video... Im hustling everyday knowing it will pay off one day... so humbling watching both of you talk about your experiences
Wished this video was longer for about an hour like your other guests, to learn more about his knowledge. Maybe a second part in the future? But thank you for creating this video, learned a lot!!!
I just binged the show a little while ago. Basically The Hills with catty girls fighting over nothing, but the girls are real estate agents. So I get the guilty pleasure drama part, and then the interesting parts where they're on the job showing listings. Great interview, I liked seeing Jason on the show and learned a lot more about him here.
I don’t understand this guy. He says he didn’t know anyone in real estate, yet his family was doing it for years before he became a lawyer? After a successful career in corporate law, he was driving an old beat up car to his new job as a real estate agent? Something is not adding up...I’m so confused with his story
I have a habit of googling everything that is interesting and i found an image of Graham in the back ground of OG real estate in between the twins. thanks for the link to the video
This was refreshing! I hope 🤞🏻 we see a lot more of you men & your lives on the next season(s) of the show, less fighting. The cat fights and gossip (especially season 2) was tough to watch & sit through. But we really really enjoyed the show otherwise 💞.
Not sure how I missed this episode...I like how Jason shared his true grind story...will take his advice "set open houses, you find new clients, his recommendation and built half his business from open houses"..."ask them questions so they know you are serious...be the guy they remember"..."don't get ahead of yourself, your first sale is going to be small, hustle and be smart. Educate yourself"...I like that smart idea about the "maps and knowing your shit" BTW watched the Netflix show the full season. Please bring Joyce and Stacy (sorry if misspelled name) on the next season... I have to admit the next season should show more of the grind and the real hustle...
I live in Venice Florida and it's I'm a few minutes from the water and there are so many open houses I'm probably going to go soon and wanting to invest soon.

Seems a lot more humble in person than on the Netflix show.
Lachlan Brown he is very humble on the shows! What do you mean!
Johnny Iorga I had only seen the first episode when I made that comment. However I’ve come to realise that Jason is a pretty chill and laid back guy.

jason: i have 5 houses

I got 8 rentals 😛
I spotted Graham in the show. I was so distracted everytime he was there. Cracks me up cuz he was the only normal person in the scene.

It would have been a better choice if you shot in profile! This is a 14:46 video, and should have a more relaxed, conversational look and feel. Just a thought.

How come? Him and his brother seem like the only serious people on the show lol
It is “reality” tv... meaning drama and editing that makes people look a certain way just to make the show popular.
Once you realise Graham is in nearly every episode and never got a single line in the edit, you realise you and the production team are both right at the same time.
I would love to see more like this, not because Jason is on “selling sunset” but because I think these interviews are so educational! Keep it up!

He seems real , honest and humble. Netflix can make it look over the top and dramatized
I love how honest Jason is about his life and his hustle and how tough it was for him.
It’s crazy to hear Jason talk about all his struggles early on after seeing all of the success he’s had in Selling Sunset. Well done señor Jason. 👏

Jason is passionate and real. He has given real valuable advice throughout this interview. Trust me ... I know.
How did I just find this out after a year? Lol the show is entertaining and I’m glad you were a part of it Graham!
He just seems so much more humble and real than in the show. Love it!! Thanks Graham for that video
Love this! Had no idea Jason did not start in real estate. This is inspiring. Makes me miss my leasing agent days.

Love this laid back interview. Feels like your just chilling with a couple millionaires.
Jason’s a beast. Inspiring for sure. 👍🏼
I literally just finished season 2 and when I saw Graham in the background just chilling when SO MUCH DRAMA IS TAKING PLACE OMG. WE WANT MORE GRAHAM
