After 20 yrs of kayaking in the PNW, I've owned several drysuits, but would highly recommend a semi-drysuit for (non-white water) kayaking. The only difference is a neoprene neck gasket, which is far more comfortable than latex.

I can see how neoprene would be more comfortable but so far the latex hasn’t been an issue for me.
