That Mbu puffer needs his/her own tank
That puffer needs attention asap
Personally I'd keep all of the drift wood in that tank with the new eels, but then again im a huge fan of scaped tanks. So I'd add as much as I could without the fish tearing it up.
FIre eels are among the best fish ever. So cute and wonderful personality. It's a good thing that puffer isn't aware he's capable of destroying every single one of those fish in there.

Just been reading some of the other comments and I gotta say that I agree that you need more drift wood and hidey holes for all the eels not less.

I've got a 2' fire eel too! Amazing how popular they were about 15 years ago, seem to have fallen off a bit in the last few years. They truly are amazing, especially if you are able to interact with them, almost aquatic mammel like more than fish.
Those fire eels are rather awesome. They're my favorite fire eels you have.

I don't know if it's a good idea to remove any of the driftwood in that tank - you have too many fish in there that like to have some hiding places. If anything, you need to add more places for the eels and some of the others to hide.

The eels need sand and more driftwood!!!!
They don't require sand necessarily. But they will definitely some rocks, plants and driftwood for additional hiding spaces, especially with so many eels. Otherwise they will go through a lot of stress fighting for that valuable resource.

I tell people about you all of the time and people are surprised to realise that fish need rescuing just like other animals and think that what you do is awesome.
Side note: Josh's voice kept reminding me of someone and it was driving me crazy I couldn't think of who it is. Today I figured out he sounds JUST LIKE Todd from Bojack, who is my favorite character.

I finally got a fire eel, about 10 inches but within 2 months it squeezed out through a small crack where my filter was. Great escape artist.

We have always thought about getting some of those eels but after seeing how big they get....love that ray upside down....we’ve seen snails do that too....amazing how they can actually ride across the surface tension of the water....can’t really have a favorite at OFR....but Jack says his favorite is the platinum gars and he loves swimming with them in the pond....he says they almost remind him of dolphins because of how they look and how curious they are....those eels are just awesome guys....can’t wait to see the renovations on their tank....👍

Why is Pittsburgh not in his own tank the guys a legend. All the other fish are doing is stealing his limelight. He should be front and center not sharing with lesser fish.

Why not put the eels in the 4400 ..? The 1000 looks good the way it is don’t take wood out
