Hello Great vids on the sandyland. I have one as wellm I think in the past ive seen you changed out your servo did you remove the video? I cant find it. Can you be so kind to share a link to the servo you uograded to? Thanks
Sure! I’ve got 2 videos with that: This one - my brushless kit came with a servo, and I install it in this video ua-cam.com/video/H7Iag_QP-ls/v-deo.htmlsi=f2bwj1OPdPxT1WJG And this one - similar to the other one, but with an upgraded aftermarket servo. ua-cam.com/video/9t6cWYBQ9oM/v-deo.htmlsi=-hJmaBXV3Pi_TX8e Let me know if you have any questions!
In this video, I used the stock ones. I wouldn’t recommend them - they wear out really fast. Now, I use the Latrax Teton tires. They’re super grippy and haven’t worn out at all!
Sure! You can get the tires from Hobbytown here: www.hobbytown.com/traxxas-latrax-assembled-teton-5spoke-wheels-tires-2-tra7672/p276860 If you can go to the store, you can sometimes get them cheaper! You can get the wheel nuts here:www.pxtoysrc.com/index.php/pxtoys-rc-car/pxtoys-9300-spare-parts/pxtoys-9300-upgrade-parts-oil-shock-946.html They are kind of a rip off though. You can probably get about a hundred of them for the same price at any hardware store, so I would recommend looking there first.
@@CHEESEBURGERRC I had bought the same rc car off of amazon but i had got the smaller 1:20 scale one. So I was wondering if it was possible to do the full brushless swap and oil filled shock swap with the smaller sandyland cs i think you have the 1:18 scale aandyland
The Sandyland is a lot of fun, but you can do better with $100. My friend has a Wltoys 144001, and it’s a good starter - it’s pretty fast, it’s simple to work on and it comes with batteries and stuff. Last I checked, it was $98. That one is definitely a good starter. Wltoys makes lots of other cars that are mostly around that $100 range and are good starters as well. If you’re willing to save up a little (lot) more, my first car was a 2WD Traxxas Rustler VXL. It’s a lot more than $100, but if you plan on staying in the hobby for a long time, then it’s good to have a starter that will still be fun once you get more advanced. I hope this helps! Have fun! 😀
I just did the brushless conversation! Video here: ua-cam.com/video/H7Iag_QP-ls/v-deo.html
Great informative video big guy . These are a crap load of fun! Great commentary!

Maybe get some stronger parts since it will break more easily with the brushless motor
I’m looking into some tougher gears for it. I can start getting them now because the motor finally came so I can measure/ test the sizes!
They do sell metal gears for this
You can also get different tops parts and excesories for it and upgrades for it
Haha yes! It’s an amazing platform for modding!
Hey man do you know what kind of connectors are on the esc
I believe it’s an old style Tamiya connector. I think it’s called a mini tamiya connector.
What are those tires? I lost mine and i really need new ones!
