Seriously....these are some of my favorite videos on UA-cam and I absolutely LOVED this episode. I don't know how you do it, but each episode keeps getting better and better!! Also, I think Noki Bay is my favorite destination on Isle Delfino...that may have contributed to my love of this episode lol!
TheKeitaNobodyAskedFor I think it's because he's making video of an old game and not some shitty game like fortnite. but true he is underrated and love his video especially how it's entertaining throughout the entire video (unlike other very long videos)
I've watched this so many times. When I struggle to sleep I put this on and just listening to your voice and the soothing Noki bay music playing in the background never fails to relax me. Genuinely, I hope you do more because I love every single one of these, and because of this video, Noki bay is my favourite mario stage of all time! Thank you!
That hour just flew by! I think I might slightly prefer the new structure of ordering things by area instead of by category. Regardless, thanks Particular Mushroom, for being such a fun-gi.
I check in on you on twitter every so often. Glad to see that you've been posting again recently. I'm a huge fan of your content and I'm just glad you're ok! Rewatching you a bunch right now; the value is insane in your videos.
48:58 I don't know if anyone else has noticed how you edited in a particular mushroom during the eel spin cycle, but it's certainly an appreciated video Easter egg :D
Just came across your channel from this video. Absolutely captivating. You're certainly no Jerry Seinfeld, but your humor has a certain charm to it, especially with those small video edits. Your enthusiasm is excellent as well. I can only imagine how much time you put into making this video. Great way to wind down after a long day. Thank you!
13:23 "You can place springs just about anywhere. Except water. That thing will nope out of there faster than a mushroom Pianta with a frisky fire in the dead heat of Summer." I think I watched that particular moment over a hundred times now, and I'm STILL laughing my face off whenever you say that. That line also made me finally subscribe to your channel, because that was amazing. I'm surprised nobody else in the comments mentioned it.
One of my friends recommended your channel to me tons of times, and I hadn't decided to actually watch some of your content till now. I wish I didn't wait, this is some top-tier stuff. Keep up the good work, dude!
I can see the amazing jump in quality and your videos got way funnier in between the Sirena Beach episode and this one. Keep up the good work, my dude! Also, those platforms are HOUSES?
Hey, I’d love to see more videos from you. Your UA-cam channel is one of my favorites and since Sunshine is my favorite game of all time I find myself revisiting your videos frequently. If you make a new video sometime soon, consider making more like this one OR a recent idea I had was exploring dialogue and character arcs in the game. There’s lots of different dialogue based on episodes and the status of the characters in the plaza (based on how many shines you have). No pressure or anything but seriously, I love your channel!!
hands down the best SMS videos I've ever watched. you are a joy to listen to. wish we'd gotten to see the rest of the worlds, but i feel fortunate to have seen these. thanks!!
Hey, I doubt you ever come back to these videos/comments this long after, given that it's been a year and a half as of writing this, but I *really just want you to know I love these, so so very much.* It is evident how much time, effort, and practice/research you put into each and every one of your SMS videos. They are truly wonderful, and your commentary only adds to this. I really hope you decide to pick this series back up and/or finish it, but regardless, I love it for what it already is, has been , and perhaps, maybe will be. Thank you, Mr. Mushroom (:
People may not believe this but this is my favourite stage and I spent hours as a kid doing pretty similar things and this video. It touches my heart so much in a good way. I never spent this kind of time on any other stage and don't really remember why I loved this one in specific so much but it's really interesting to see a kindred soul discovering some things I thought only I might have seen.
52:55 I know that there is a ton of effort put into the research/filming/editing for these videos, but seriously, breaking the fourth wall and having the particular mushroom bonk into the nail you were just talking about was such a good edit that I had to make a comment on it! Props to you good sir.
You wouldn’t believe what joy I felt seeing a video from you in my feed. And then to find out it’s almost an hour long? I think I’m having a heart attack.
13:22 Now I want a 'If you Give a Mouse a Cookie...' based book called 'If you Give a Spring a Spray...' now entailing all the strange things you can do with spring.
This was amazing. Mostly because that blue coin is the bane of my existence, and no matter WHAT I did, as soon as I started getting that bug, 100% was impossible. Thanks for shedding some light on it!
This channel is godly. The amount of effort you put into not only editing but attempting the find bugs is astounding. You deserve far more subscribers, and I'm one of them now. I also love the humor added into it.
*sees length of video* GREAT GOOPER POYOING BLOOPER THE HECK?!? Edit: also YAAAY another episode for my relaxation/sleep playlist. I love falling asleep to your and yuriofwind's videos ;w; you both have amazingly soothing voices
Hey dude!!! I absolutely love your content, you can really tell how much effort and dedication you put into all of your videos. I hope you upload again sometime!!
I've always called Mario zoom ins Mario cam. I don't know if its because of Sunshine, because I have the memory of a goldfish, though I have. It just seemed appropriate. Anyways, always look foward to your uploads man. Keep it up. Edit: Also, Noki Bay is by far my favorite Mario stage. Thank you for doing this!
Hey, I found a glitch a while ago accidentally in the secret box stage. I was in the middle of a speedrun, and I got to the final spinning block right before the shine. I think I dived into the peg or something (the red one if I remember correctly) and I got stuck inside of it, in a weird animation where he was bonking infinitely. Mario stayed stuck until he'd rotated 180 degrees and was fully underneath the platform. Once there, he got flung. I actually managed to get flung to an early part of the stage and survive. It was pretty miraculous, I had no extra lives when that happened but I kept going and it ended up being my first complete run of the game.
I want to play Super Mario Sunshine Trivial Pursuit!! Fantastic video, I loved the new format and graphics, and the expression in your humour and editing is as subtle yet fantastic as ever. Noki Bay is far from my favourite level, but it was a pleasure to learn more!
Every since I was a kid, I always wanted to explore the other stages from the stage I was currently in (like Delfino Plaza - Pinna Park). You seem to be a Sunshine expert, and I would love to see if this is possible to fulfill my curiosity. Also great video!
I gotta love this mario content. At first I thought it would get old but you have a way of keeping it interesting. Your voice is easy to sleep to, and I probably would sleep to them if I didn't find them so interesting and funny. Keep making content that you love!
When I watched you ground pound just after 53:45 I quickly thought, "They probably coded it so that Mario retains momentum from the platform, but because the platform is rotating they made it so that his momentum simply curves with the platform; allowing him to short hop up and land in the same spot despite the rotation. Under normal gameplay conditions you'd never be able to jump high enough for it to be an issue, but the only requirement to adopt the rotational velocity of the platform is (probably) being vertically aligned to it. This would restrict them from putting any other platforms above or below it, and it is indeed one of the areas of the map where there is no vertical overlap of stage elements."
Really hope you come back and do mario sunshine content it’s so nostalgic Unfortunately got kicked out of the discord a few years ago due to power obsessed mods but you were particularly a great mushroom
This... is one of my favorite channels on UA-cam. I love it. I love this video. Oh, and as to what you could have done better? NOTHING! IT'S PERFECT!!!! I LOVE IT! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!! I seriously cannot wait for the Pinna Park episode! I'm gonna freak out when it releases lol!
Hey, Particular Mushroom, I'm not sure if you'll see this comment, but this series you're doing has inspired me to play Sunshine again. In Pinna Park, Episode 7, Shadow Mario in the Park, it's actually really obvious that shadow mario teleports between his paths. Just wanted to let you know, looking forward to more videos!
Also, something else that I've noticed is how gooped-up piantas and nokis act. If you go far enough away from someone covered in goop, they stop moving, even if they're still clearly in view of the camera! Rocket nozzle also works for the distance needed to make them stop moving.
UGH I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS I KNOW SUNSHINE IS SO OLD BUT ITS MY FAAAAAVORITE GAME EVER IN THE WORLD SO YOU POSING THESE IS AMAZING TO ME THANK YOU KING
54:15 I believe I have more footage of this in one of my streams. The reason seems to be that same reason for the ground pound earlier spinning due to the game not taking Mario's y-axis position (height) into account when calculating for some aerial movements, resulting in "magnetisms" like this, or teleportation in extreme cases like you found (which I think I have somewhat replicated). This "mechanic" is most easily seen when you try to do anything with the Pachinko board.
Thank you for making this content, the editing is wonderful and the amount of effort you put into each video must be insanity inducing due to the difficult technical stuff that comes along with breaking the game. I love how homey these videos feel and how I can have one running while doing mindless tasks and enjoying how far someone can push the limitations of wonderful childhood games. Thank you for this content Particular Mushroom.
Yeah, I much prefer this by-area format. It works really well for the documentation of glitches, and it’s very intuitive to follow! Thank you for making this :D
I enjoyed every second of it, This adds an entire new and incredible feeling to what is all ready a nostalgic bomb of fun. This makes you ask not “What’s begins the Wall?” Like when you were a kid with no concept of COM capabilities, But instead how can I discover and abuse the game to the max. The fact that these are so rare yet have so much quantity adds that whole new feeling of adventure. Anyways that was my rant on a game people dislike. (Somhow..?) That’s Pmhushy for the awesome vid. And I can’t wait for the next one. :0

Excellent video as always ! I loved the spring and the bottle glitches !
The air meter sound glitch at 32:30 is probably due to Piantissimo's music
These videos take a while to come out but dang are these high quality
The fact that I can't inchworm springs continuously into the air is so upsetting
The sheer madness of bringing two springs down through the skip and putting Blooper on top of it is too much for me

This "mechanic" is most easily seen when you try to do anything with the Pachinko board.
