      Thanks so much, tyionallen. I'm afraid I'm done though....UA-cam's Adcents is upside for content creator's; especially small ones. Currently the revenue for 1k views is about $1.00 USD. Less than half from last year alone. I'm a very small channel I've never made enough to even cover the cost of making this content. I also don't make the content most folks (single men) interested in the Philippines want to see; which leaves my viewership and subscriptions pretty low considering. I'm not bothered by the folks not interested in family life here, but the Google Adcents revenue issue is causing me to leave out of principle.

    My little sweet Asawa and I love going to Valencia when we fly in from Cavite or Leyte.. always so pretty riding scooters up past Valencia into the country side areas..go live and explore it guys! Lots to see and do up there.. Dennis and Josie Petty

      Lots to see and do for certain! My wife and I really like motorbike riding or loading up the family in our vehicle and traveling the island occasionally. In three years (mostly due to pandemic) we've only travel three islands Cebu, Negros, and Mindanao. A few thousand more islands and we'll be all caught up with the Philippines. Happy and safe travels to you and your Asawa Josie, Dennis. Thank you for your viewership as well.

    I am always amazed of these outings and the gatherings of people. I beginning to see that the selling of foods appears to be the means where many are earning a living. The vendors are hoping that more big expats visit because they have larger appetites and will spend more. (LoL).

    • @pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc
      @pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc  Рік тому +4

      The vendors can make more with their goods in the more foreigner frequented area; rather than selling in a strictly local venue. Most locals and budget minded foreigners will shop at these markets because the food is fresher and cheaper than the mainstream choices. You'll get a lot more volume of goods for a much cheaper cost.

      Lol, smart too. My wife comment yesterday that Jhustines' actually smarter than her mom. She uses sign language sometimes when talking to us. Picked it up watching Ms.Rachael on UA-cam. Meme does the head ribbon because Isabella doesn't have a full head of hair yet. She gets so annoyed if people confuse her for a boy,😝

    I was out there in May. Both in Valencia and Siaton. Absolutely beautiful there!!! Gonna try to come back in about 6 weeks. I just missed the market in Valencia, broke my heart!!! Hope to make it next time. Great info on that gas station joint!!!! Gonna haveta stop thru and check it out!!! Hope to live out there in a couple of years when I retire!!!! Like I said, I’ll be thru in about 6 weeks, if there is anything stateside that you can’t get there, just holla!!!!

      Thanks for the offer brother, but we have all we need + we'll be traveling as well. That market place has a great selection of (cooked) foods available. The have some really good lechon "Cebu style" there. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the vendor at the moment. It's good to hear you came out and visited before leaving everything behind to retire here. You're a wise man. Rent for the 1st yr or so; thereby giving you time to travel and know you're choosing the right area of the Philippines "FOR YOU" before you settle. When you roll back through definitely check out that market though; even If nothing more than the experience. It's as nice as it looks.

      @@pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc Thanks for the heads up!!! And my friend out there in Siaton has been to that Gas Station Joint and did say that it was legit!!! Offer always stands if you need something from out this way…. I’ll probably try to come out at least once a year, maybe more if I don’t go to Rio instead…..

      @@RioStevie Legit for sure! The owner is humble to boot. Always wanted to go to Rio as a young man. Congrats brother and thanks for the offer. If I think of something I'll let you know, but someone already made my Cyrstal hot sauce dream come true. Love that New Orleans style, but the Filipino's I know don't like the vinegar like taste. I don't get it because they put vinegar in so much stuff here, lol.

    When we visit, we'll have to hit that market. Not too many markets like that around here that I know of. Probably because of the city size.

    Cooler temperature in Valencia is a Myth I live here.

    • @pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc
      @pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc  Рік тому

      I can't say that agree with the myth part, I've been in Dumaguete for three years and I can't keep count on how many times it's only rained in Valencia, Mabinay, and Pamplona due to temperature differences with elevation. Not saying you don't need air con, because you do. It's not that kinda cool. There's definitely a weather difference (occasionally) coming from Valencia by the time you hit Candau-ay, or Bacong. You do live there though so you would know what the norm is. That's just my experience.

    @0:51 your caption said Beware of cars opening doors and "steer" Wheels. Would you happen to have had any Trucking experience back in America? Because we're the only ones who call front tires steer tires.

    • @pumpkinjoesphilippineexperienc

      Hello, We're no longer participating in UA-cam; however I'll take a moment to answer your question as best I can. I don't know who Filipina's/Pinay's love. I know they're open to most men who can provide and treat them respectfully. I had the same question before coming here; which is why I decided to respond to your question. I believe all being equal most Filipina's would prefer a Filipino man due to communication & cultural issues. I've spoken to quiet a few Filipina's who won't date local men and prefer foreigners because of past issues or traumas with Filipino men. I respond to them whatever their issue they'll find the same with foreign men as well; because men are men. Filipino men have a reputation for drinking all the time. I do not drink , but I also know very few foreign men who don't spend their time in a bar or at home with a "cold one" in their hand. Black American & Black European men are treated fine here...much better than I've been treated in my home country. I have seen and heard of some bias against black Africans though, and Nigerian in particular. They've been associated with scammers and honestly not treated as well "in my opinion", but not mistreated. Indian men tend to have the hardest time finding a Filipina partner here; also due to some broad perceptions of them and how they treat women as a whole. I myself wouldn't know, but many women here make the same comments to me regarding the subject. Be wary of "hunters" though. Some women here, Korea, Japan and such have a fetish to date you with ZERO long term interest in you other than to satisfy that curiosity. It's like back in your home country where these women would be considered exotic, but here they're "everyday" since their features are common; just like their other countrymen. White to fair skin is more preferred as folks here have be colonized to consider this thee standard of beauty, so the darker you complexion you may feel you prospects get a bit slimmer. They're not doing this to discriminate (intentionally) but kids are cruel in school, and you'll find this playing a role in finding good employment here unfortunately. They want beautiful people to represent their company and pull business. If you're not fair skinned & young life isn't life can be a bit harder here (most foreigners exempt). Do to this women will be more selective when choosing their partner; due to the fact if they have children..the child might suffer if the don't meet the standard of beauty in place here. Just my honest observations here. Opinions may differ.
