Kids love it here, and so do adults too as it's nice to finally be in a free country. Think it's crowded because of all rain lately and everyone has been couped up.
💖💖 wow guys!!! I'm lost for words.... enjoy to the max beautiful family 😍😍😍😍
I really enjoyed watching the vlogs am always waiting for new vlogs
Good job Bria sa imung tutor..
The kids are having the best life 😅😅
Hello Brianna. The balloons are pretty. I am so glad to see your family today.
Nothing like being back to your home !! And the Sunday Market, Shopping for goodies !!
would be nice to see you visit our stall at some point, we produce jams and marmalades and sell on Valencia Sunday market, David's homemade food trading!
Great to show how organized and friendly these people are a good lesson on a city planning looking relaxed is great for you all
EXCELLENT to see people no longer care about covid nonsense and Philippines life is back to business!!!!! So happy for Philippines at last
Was also here yesterday because of the brownout. Nice tour 😊🙌
so much activity in that island. Everyday is a different day. not like here in the US where you do the same activity on a daily basis, whether you're still working or retired.
To us, America is a hamster wheel to a slow and predictable death.
Brownout days ensure a packed market. Welcome back.
It amazes me how every time I watch your video's I have a smile on my face at the end. Thank you all for sharing a little part of your life. God bless. 😊😊
Wow, thank you pat g. 💕💕
The economy of the Philippines is thriving, and it is showing, by the many people that have money to spend on their leisure time.
1. So glad Pearl can tutor Briana. The market was very interesting and wonderful there. Retirement there is Paradise in Dumguete, Philippines 🇵🇭. GOD SPEED on happiness everyone. It really makes me think of my future plans. Thank you.
Eventually we'll see the Sunday market in person. We missed it by a few hrs when we were there. Oh man, love looking at the food!
I so much enjoy watching your videos such a good family
Nice video I am back in barangay arrived Friday night
Beautiful family. It seems to be less stressful and more happiness there. Fresh foods are the best😊Wonderful that you returned, blessings always.
Thanks Francis, we really enjoy the plentiful fresh foods here and friendly culture as apposed to the states.
❤❤❤
Wow! That was a very busy market market and good place to get fresh farm products for sure.
If you know Bud Brown it will be a good idea to see him before they leave the Philippines for good.
Glad you are enjoying Duma/Valencia area.
Good idea about Bud Brown, I'll get in touch with him. I did speak to him a couple months ago on the phone before we left the states. Thanks Jesse.
You can grow your green onion on the pot.Just cut the bottom.
Great market! You won’t sweat in Arkansas today so enjoy. So nice so many watch your videos. I look forward to the new recipe! No power?! What happened?!
Brown Outs are very common through-out the provinces of the Philippines but we learn to live with it. It's usually announced ahead of time and normally for system maintenance. So when the air conditioning isn't working for the day people schedule outdoor activities like the parks, beaches, etc...or to get aircon they go to the Mall or restaurants. Today the electric came back on at 6pm which was perfect. :)
Missed you at the market but was great talking to you at the mall the other day.
Great meeting you too Dale!
Nice video. Yes many people at Sunday Market! Thought maybe because power-out families more likely to get out - but many more vendors too. Appreciate the prices and details and seeing the schoolwork of Brianna. (No intro to the video - the new format or just short on time?)
Hello K & J, Mareis's editing choice was to do it this way but it is not the new format. Next time there will be a nice intro... :) BTW, there are so many more vendors at the Sunday Market, literally double the amount from 2019 with dining, activities and music carry on with fresh chicken and pork lechon into the evening with kids and families. It's a bigger than ever community event, actually a little overwhelming..
WHY ARE THE BANANAS SO RIPE THEY DONT LAST LONG
Those banana (lakatan)diffrent from our banana from costco that even if it still look green its taste overipe
Please let me know how much the bananas cost. Great shopping.
This was the most crowded I have experienced as well. It was the same in Dumaguete in the afternoon. Remember that there was a planned regional power outage, so I think everybody got out of their homes at the same time. 😮
I think you may be correct garyk, never seen anything like it here before. We're actually looking forward to less hectic time next Sunday.
I like your video regarding the Sunday market in Valencia! I was just wanting to ask if the prices at the Sunday market are cheaper than in the Dumaguete wet market or Robinson supermarket! Maybe the prices are basically the same. Also are the fruit and vegetable prices within the Valencia market the same or does each seller have different prices? Thanks in advance your reply.
John was right. You need to go earlier or later. However, getting the sandwiches are harder to get if you go later.
I think I will be going earlier and the kids and Mareis can go later. I want the sandwiches and time to investigate the other hot food. Some of it's overprices and not so good so I need to learn and be selective. The fresh produce is incredible!
How was the price of the veggies.
I am glad everyone is happy.
Very good quality veggies and prices seemed ok overall.
Market was crowded yesterday!
Oh yes, crazy!
It took Filipinos a few months to finally shake off the lock down habits.
Yes, looks like their slowly shaking off the face diapers :)
so you came back with the same apartment 3 years ago? or you paid the rent while your away to have it reserved?
The owners leased it out while we were gone and fortunately we're moving back into our two bedroom unit next week.
