- Today's video is really special and important to my heart. I'm sharing how I finally found my SOULMATE and how I think you can find yours! 💁🏻♀️✨
It has been a long and stressful journey for me! As a female with a Middle Eastern and Muslim background, the pressure to settle down has been insane, and as a result, I made a lot of wrong decisions along the way. I have spent most of my adult life searching for my other half due to society, family, and friends' expectations of what my life is supposed to look like! Now, after doing a lot of soul searching and inner work, I see things from an entirely different perspective, and I can honestly say I've never seen things more clearly. Everything you're searching for is already within yourself. Find your light!
I wish someone shared this advice with me 15 years ago! Society has it all wrong. Don't ever let anyone pressure you into anything, If you feel like you're struggling to find your "soulmate," please watch this video.

I absolutely love this. I settled once when I was 28 and got divorced 6 months later.
I wish I knew then what I know now but it’s the qadr of Allaah. I know I’m more than enough now and everything’s changed for the better alhamdulilah. As a 38 years old Sudanese, I used to get alot of pressure, but thanks to my parents, they encouraged me to do me, and not listen to what others said and am happy now because I have all the time to do alot for myself and stay true to myself.Thanks Mona for this topic of discussion and I believe a lot of both men and women need to hear this to avoid pleasing others but rather start with themselves first!!😘😘😘😘❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Everything you said is so true. I love it. I’m 50 years old. Learned to finally love myself after being married at a young age… 17 years later, divorced. Had to be by myself and love myself and be happy… then the one came along, I was 37 years old but I needed that time alone to love myself and be ok with myself. I don't know how I missed this video because I watch every single one of your videos! I'm 28 and it's rough :/ I am SO SO happy I didn't get married in my early 20's, but at the same time, I'm at the point where I would like to meet someone and start entering that phase. But again, I am happy I didn't get married like a lot of others I know.
I am married for nearly 7 years with the love of my life BUT I still think I am my own soulmate. I feel at peace when I am around my own space and energy ❤️
When the Quran says we made them in pairs everyone thinks it means a hubby n wife came together and family pushes that but I realized maybe it means they made our lower and higher self together. Wow mashallah I love u Mona thank you

I think your higher-self is your inner strength. Your gut. Your conscience. It tells you what’s right and wrong for you, what you’re comfortable with and it reminds you of who you are at your core. Your inner-self never lets you down. You’re right. You are your own best friend. Trust yourself.
I learned to love myself at 28. It took soooo long !!!! It’s a journey and you need to be totally ok with being single . Not see it as a negative thing . As a Mexican woman the pressure sounds exactly what you described. People will think there must be something wrong with you . I’m 32 in a relationship and still struggle with pressure sometimes but I’m learning to let go and enjoy the moment. No timeline . Love tips you gave, you’re amazing 🥰
People don’t even realize how much impact they can have on us by all the words …. And thats sad somehow, but is on us to love ourselves and believe.
There is no right or wrong time for anyone there is only a time .

2020 was the year of healing and therapy for me too. The best thing I ever did for myself!!! Loving yourself will help you learn how to love others and attract those around you that want to grow as you grow and those will love and accept you as you are.

Great message, I think my journey led me here as I too have found myself in my soul. I used to beat myself up so bad over past choices and mistakes, I've learned to extend grace--mostly to myself. My journey has not been easy but I am so proud of the amazing and resilient woman I have become. I am so in love with her! Thanks for sharing Mona!

Mona you are absolutely right. Unfortunately we live in a world where we are taught that external soulmates somehow complete us and that we have to rely on another person to be truly "complete" when in reality its simply not true. Too many people enter into marriages and relationships because they are pressured to do so and made to feel as if they are somehow inadequate without another person.
In reality the only person that can truly love and take care of us is ourselves, even if two people fall in love, the only REAL person that we can rely on is ourselves because only we know how to care for and preserve our hearts.
We are with ourselves at all times so we must love and respect ourselves before putting another person first. Thank you for making this video, you are fabulous Mona 💕

Mona, I really hope you know that you’re such an example for us middle eastern women that are single and feel ashamed of not having a partner. By you making these great videos, it sheds light onto women in our situation and may even help younger women who may be on the same track as us. Even though I’ve accepted myself being single at the moment( which took a lot of time... YEARS!) I’m still open to finding the RIGHT person and fall in love. I hope you’re still open to that as well. Allah always throws curve balls at us and we may think we know ourselves better than anyone else, but it’s not true, Allah knows best.

For years I suffered from this pressure to get married. I'm Indian so it's the same kind of pressure:( I have seen so many of my friends cave in and they have ended up getting abused. Thankfully I never did and finally my parents came around and I'm happy:)
