In my actual playthrough I was more than capable of defeating the moon with the cards I had, but my first card had poison, so.... When the music swelled and suddenly stopped my heart skipped like three beats, the moon was just GONE.

I love how Leshy can multitask perfectly, move objects with his mind (both first two seen with how he handles multiple objects that require moving), tear off computer monitors from straight metal, build a camera which can trap people in cards, and move at fast speeds (seen while he dashes at you when you're about to photograph him), yet he allows you to take a picture of him to progress
@@sapphirestar3978 One time I was playing and My Oroboros Does like 80 dmg, and I had mantis god, we go to the station and then we make it a god card. It was so OP.
@@Essentialanimations yeah thats pretty powerful it does seem to be a bit of a waste to put so much random damage on one card but i bet its amazing for getting golden teeth which you can of course later use to get more animals making the chance of getting that op card a bit less
the adder touch of death also 1 shots the moon, I had geared up my stongest cards to fight the moon and i put a 1 damage death shot card not thinking about it and it just killed the moon on my first round, i was like bruh all that for this

i started playing yesterday, after watching some gameplay of it, had no idea what i was doing and kept dying at the first or second boss fight because i didn't have a good balance in my deck, i either had weak cards but enough blood, or strong cards and no blood at all. still figuring it all out but it's frustrating because it gets more difficult the more i die and unlock the talking cards
make smart decisions when you sacrifice cards, always go for units with a cost worth its value, sigils are also very important in this game, some bad cards with insane sigil usually are used to be sacrificed on to other cards, never take the pack rat it is bad, don't take or buy too many cards, having 8-10 cards in your deck is good enough and it takes away some RNG
The first time I got to the moon was with a worker ant beat down deck. I thought my deck was not well equiped enough for the moon until I played the stinkbug and reduced it's attack to 0. I was so shocked that it actually worked lol
Leshy's having a bad fucking day- Man sat there and watched this madlad grind to a 40-40 Ouroboros and one shot his MOON, then had to pick up all the god damn bone tokens, THEN had his gift rejected AND fucking turned into a card. He's not doing too good but he can't top Luke with the whole being dead thing, I think he's got it a bit worse.

After beating the game and a total of thirty six hours of playing, I finally learned you can Deathtouch the Moon. I’m never doing it again, it feels wrong.
that was so fuckin uneccesary, I love it. just 10 fuckin minutes of you sacrificing squirrels and rats. I don't blame you though, I didn't know deathtouch would work in that scenario either. I won with a 9-23 buck with bifurcated attack.
I killed moon by myself....when I first time fought it....not gonna lie it kinda ruined whole dramatic/unfair thing..(First Challenger I died as happened to have the "venomous" strike which one shots opponents card his name was *Jeff*)
You also have another snake in your hand that would provide the same effect, with much less effort. Granted though, it wouldn't make as much of a difference in the long run, I guess.
Get a goat with rebirth, and use it to boost your Ouroboros. Mine’s somewhere near 100, and I didn’t get there because I got bored. With dedication, it’d be interesting to see how much you could get it to

I found out that you can put bifurcated and trifurcated strike on one card, so I had a death card with 3 strength and bifurcated strike that I added trifurcation to, and a mantis god that I gave bifurcation and 4 more strength. So I had them both on the board and they killed to moon in one turn
You really make it hard when the fact you have the snake make that you Can already one shot him, you can also reduce his damage by 1 meaning he make 0 damage
@@royalpariah6428 unless it has the "fly" thing like most birds ? I don't fully know how ouroboros works or if you can stack buffs (my buffs I mean like poison, fly, 3 directionnal-hits, etc) but I guess it could work ?
How did you manage to get a combined Ouroboros? Do the Mycologists offer it sometimes as a duplicate card? Because if not for that, I'm fairly certain it would be impossible to get two Ouros aside from Grimora's and P03's boss fights in Act 2 Edit: I've just realized that when you combine pelts you can take them to the trader for a combined card. I see now that that strategy is how it's possible to gain an Ouroboros with that card texture
return only one time makes it niche and not even a rare anymore at that point, also ouroboros's purpose is being a get out of jail free card for players that are not good with card games but still wants to experience the story, but that can be a good challenge in kaycee's mod, ouroboros can only ressurect once every battle.

Just cause you can’t Poison the moon, doesn’t mean it is invulnerable to “Touch of Death”
Rocks can also smell apparently, got some neat hidden dialogue by making the moon do 0 damage.
I'd love to know what Leshy thinks when players just do this in front of him and he has to wait 15 minutes for his turn only to lose

i love the MOUNTAIN of bone tokens and the ones that just end up wedged into the middle of the stacks makes it even funnier

What about not only one shotting the moon but also dealing enough damage so as Leshy loses after the moon is down, so no "Finish me off" from him.
Sadly carryover damage doesn't effect the opponent, only any cards behind the card you're attacking
