You know that that is actually a fetish ASMR?! Things that are relaxing or not what ASMR is just because things are relaxing does it mean it’s a fetish
Loved the uncomplicated delivery of info in this video. Great job! Thanks for helping others understand the value of the tool rather than choosing to complain as so many others have focused on with the release. Way to take the high road. I also loved the behind the scenes clip at the end. This was my first video from your channel. I subscribed and look forward to more vids. Thanks!
Your set up is boss bro! Coming from a primarily Lightroom user, and never really took the time to learn photoshop, I feel more inclined to learn it not that I’ll be able to do it on my iPad and take it with me everywhere. Even though the iPad version doesn’t have all the features the desktop has (yet), I think it will be easier for new photoshop users to try this and get comfortable with the interface.
So this is why you’re fantastic. In your videos you show what you are clicking with your apple pen. In many other videos they only show the photo and it’s hard to find where they clicked. Thank you!
Yeah Lee. Dude that was awesome. I feel like I learned a lot from watching that (even though it wasn’t like a “tutorial”) it was great. I know these videos are probably a pain to make but you did a really good job. Thank you my man! Would love to see a video incorporating the new duel screen feature with Mac OS and iPad and photoshop... idk if it would make things more convenient lol but it would be cool just to see.
Aaah finally someone showing the features instead of listing the missing ones 😁 I wish I could “right click open in photoshop” from Lightroom on mobile. I’m guessing that won’t be an option given it won’t open raw files yet. That and content aware fill and I think I’ll have basically everything I use.
I agree. I’m using my laptop to open Lightroom files in Photoshop and then saving them to Cloud Documents (so they appear in iPad Photoshop when I launch that). It’s not bad, but a bit of a pain (and you need a laptop/desktop). Hopefully that feature is coming soon to the mobile apps.
This might be the only review that shows someone actually using the application. So many other videos are carbon copies of all the other videos. Thank you for using it and showing it.
Thank you very much for sharing. With all this time on my hand, I decided to try photoshop for iPad yesterday, I was so frustrated. Man telling us what that circle was in the bottom left hand corner was the best. Anybody know how change the opacity of text? Please, please more photoshop for iPad tutorials.
Would love more tutorials on retouching skin and textures. You explain and navigate very well. Thank you for your video tutorial really appreciate it ❤
I'm glad that Photoshop is finally here on the iPad but I still believe that Affinity Photo has the superior app. Even affinity's 1.0 version of photo on the iPad was better than this. Adobe has a ways to go but the integration between its app will be the appeal.
All I wanted was the exact same version that is on desktop with a few IU changes that work for a tablet. This just feels like an entirely new App with only a few similarities.
Very effective presentation. His mind runs at the same speed as mine, with pauses in just the right places for me to take in each new concept. Non-mechanical. Thank you.
‘Automagically’ 🤣🤣🤣 brilliant. Needs to be trademarked. This tutorial was ridiculously amazing. I’m not going to get an iPad after seeing this. Do yiu feel yiu have the space on the 11 inch or do you sometimes wish you went for the bigger one
Thank you, very informative. I have an iPad Pro, photoshop, and rush for video editing. I’m pretty new to all of them and would love to see your tutorials. This one was very helpful
Very good tutorial pleasure watching you work but really full version not even close. I switched to affinity photo a year back not look back once excellent program 50 quid All in and it is the full version thanks for sharing.
Everyone: posting videos like Adobe wtf you suck Lee: actually using it instead of just talking negatively Me: this is pretty simple and should work fine after a few updates for retouching
@H M The point of the criticism is mostly the false marketing (they call it PS on ipad, fuill version, etc) and the pricetag for something so incomplete. This kind of release tactic would be okay and expected from an indie developer, not a multimillion dollar, decades old industry giant. There is simply no reason currently to choose it over its competitors.
I just downloaded Photoshop for iPad today. One thing I would like to see Adobe add is to allow us to access a Lightroom photo library. You can copy a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop for iPad and back, it would be nice to do it directly.
Nice shot and nice video! Subscribed. I’ve been shooting fashion and glamour for 15 years and use PS with my iMac all the time. My iMac is in the shop right now and I have an iPad Pro 11 and was playing with Photoshop on it. I don’t have the pencil though, so it wasn’t a great experience, but this looks great. The main things missing I couldn’t live without is the Portraiture plug in and it doesn’t seem there is a way to batch process multiple photos on the iPad version. Also having an issue with getting my external drives working with my iPad. Mobile is getting better and better and though. I could maybe switch in a few years if it keeps improving.
Hello Lee, First of all thanks for the tutorial. I just got a new Ipad and I never used it before for retouching. Do you have any tutorial about how to remove eyebags especially? Thanks,
Thank you so much. I I am a pre beginner at 71 years old I’m going to try this photo shop can you make a lot of sense you show me where to find the stuff out I’m using a iPad Pro and a iPhone 13 Pro plus I plan on shooting everything on my iPhone for right now I will definitely follow you thank you very much for what you do
Awesome video!!! That what I wanted to see. Normal photo editing on an iPad. All the other videos are peoples opinions, reviews, what they like and dislike...what they don't like I might like. This video show you what it is like to actually do real life, common edits that most photographers use. Thank you.
Waiting for black friday to see if there will be any deals but i guess for an 11 inch ipad pro for $599 may not get better than that. Thanks for sharing Lee, appreciate your insight my dude.
I personally could definitely do with an iPad Pro PS lesson for beginners. Never used it before and trying to figure it out isn’t easy if you haven’t used the product on PC or Mac
Hi Lee, just bought ipad pro 2020. Waiting on 'pencil' I'm a subscribed Adobe user but mainly use Lr . The synced cloud is pretty useful . Ps is very new to me but have basic concepts . You asked if anyone has suggestions for future tutes? THE Ipad pro seems to have different ways to get into functions in Ps and Lr; perhaps a slightly slower exaggerated demo of 'some' tools would be useful? Great approach
Cool and simple video my friend, and good tips. Don't bother with the negatives comments, just keep on doing what you're doing. Your new friend from Puerto Rico.
Existing Adobe subscribers would be silly not to get this, looks good. For mere mortals like me, Affinity photo it is. I don’t use Pro tools enough nor make any money from them to justify the cost.
That’s so cool! I enjoy watching how you edit smoothly. This makes me wanna buy an iPad Pro. Do you recommend to buy an iPad Pro now, or wait for the new one which might come anytime soon?
I highly recommend getting the Surface Pro 7 with a pen instead as you can then run desktop version of Photoshop CC. It really is a game changer being able to edit your photos with a pen.
I bought an iPad Pro a year ago - hoping it would come to this... So - my question for you - I can remove a background on an image to make a white background - how do I preserve the shadows on PS iPad? Any thoughts? THANK YOU!
Lee... I just watched this. I believe now they've added Curves. I'd actually be interested on your review now 6 months later. Also, I've recently seen some retouching using Affinity on the iPad. I'd like to see your take on it.
Thanks for this look at this first version. I’ve been using it on a couple of image and I really like it so far (really missing curves, though). I’m subbing to your channel, hoping that you’ll do tips on future versions of the app. I really like editing on the iPad vs desktop/laptop.
Don Kittle yeah it’s missing a lot and people are giving adobe heat. But it will eventually become what we all hope it would be. Atleast my fingers are crossed it will.
Hi... thanks for this informative tutorial. You say you are using the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. I have an iPad Air (6th gen?) that i am told supports the iPad pencil. Before I buy a pencil, would you know if Photoshop for iPad will support the Apple Pencil on the IPad Air?
“Full” version is SO weak. Can’t support RAW, no way to sharpen an image even. 😂😂😂 No curves no smart object no brush opacity really. Snapseed is more powerful and complete.
Need to support RAW at the very least, now I'm back tracking on my potential purchase but it's so easy and convenient. My note10plus, is rubbish for any editing. Small, no support.
What card reader did you use for the iPad mine won’t show up on the files and if it does it pops on then off quickly someone told me the reader needs more power
Great video. You did a great job explaining plus showing exactly what you were doing on your document. Do you have a portfolio website or instagram page?
What exactly have you been using to capture the iPad Pro´s screen again? Animus Ninja 5? Can't find that on the internet hahah Great tutorial bro! Now I might get my Adobe Sub back for editing on my iPad ;D
Would you say that only for retouching skin and photo editing the ipad version is good? Because I’m thinking of buying one for that! Im absolutely terrible with a mouse sadly
I'm really excited to release my NEW high-quality Lightroom Presets! They are the same ones I use on my edits! Find them here: ClassicPorts.com
Anyone else found this tutorial VERY relaxing? it was like an ASMR tutorial.
Nismor2 haha same feeling.

I have this app and I love it

I LOVED your video tutorial. I’m new to photoshop and this really helped me. Thank you
Looks great. But I can’t get behind Adobe’s subscription plan. Sticking with Affinity.
Mr. Perez same
i tell everyone to support Affinity whenever they ask about photoshop. Insane subscription
Just get pixel Mator pro on the App Store for IPad. It’s only $4.99 ONE-TIME PAYMENT it’s really good and it’s not a monthly subscription
Since Affinity and Procreate came out, I don’t use Adobe products anymore. And I’ll use Clip Studio on my Mac (one time payment)
What affinity for things like this... Designer?
Thank you very much for sharing. With all this time on my hand, I decided to try photoshop for iPad yesterday, I was so frustrated. @@LeeZavitz Hopefully that changes over time. Adobe seems to have some kind of roadmap for the app.
This is such an amazing tutorial, just what I needed since I’m starting to use photoshop and I only have an iPad, thank you so much!
Very effective presentation. His mind runs at the same speed as mine, with pauses in just the right places for me to take in each new concept. Non-mechanical. Thank you.

Bro, you are such a talented photographer. I can't wait to get a lot better at portraits.
Thanks bro. Just need to keep practicing!
Thank you! This is the most helpful video I’ve seen so far.
Super dope video and good explanations. Would be nice to see you edit landscape photos

love the last part of the video, the tutorial set up is so helpfull. thanks
thanks a million for sharing your in-depth review on iPad. the best review on Photoshop. btw, your behind the scene was really helpful for me
Great video, so simple and easy to follow. I would love to see anything that you have for beginners with photoshop on the iPad. Thanks!

Me: this is pretty simple and should work fine after a few updates for retouching
RyanRodriguez Fitness because it actually fucking sucks
@H M stop being adobe fan boy lol
Juzel James for it being pretty simple it doesn’t. I still wouldn’t trade it over affinity for composites
@H M i can agree with that

Great video, informative, your calm patient tone is greatly appreciated. New subbie definitely 🖤🖤🖤🖤🤞🏾
Nice tutorial bro, keep them coming. The more I can do on my iPad Pro the more I’m inclined to use it.
This is such a good review. I'd be so frustrated with this "full" version. A lot is still missing! Thank God I watched this before buying! 😂
This video is almost 5 years old. They have added a lot of stuff since I made this. But it’s still not full desktop photoshop

Sublime images. With what device do you make that beautiful video?
Best video on topic
Have they added the ability to use Actions or Plugins yet? I use both quite often.
Really well done video!
Is it really convenient to use 11 version? Especially on the table? Is not it difficult for eyes?
