A Thracian warrior forced into slavery, Spartacus became the gladiator known as the Bringer of Rain. I found myself falling in love with ilithyia's character and hating her guts at the same time, wierd...
I love LLITHYIA, shes a great female villian

I love this show and especially the women who I find to be a vital element to the suspense of it.
I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.
He comes with a free handle, a disadvantage in the arena.
I love Ilithyia. She's my favorite female in the series. :)

@krnstrong If they follow the story of Spartacus, there will be no relationship between them. I bet that they will make them come across each others a few times (even if it's not really in history). I thought they would spend more time on Spartacus the Gladiator but it seems we will get more of Spartacus, Leader of the Slave Revolution. There will still be blood freeing slaves.

did anyone notice, if you watched spartacus vengeance, ilithyias hair looked super different then in blood and sand? it looks more wig like. absolutely horrible. i think she looked alot better in blood and sand. but i like how she acts in vengeance.

Besides John Hannah is a Scottish actor and as such, he probably wouldn't be pleased to be called English. They take great pride in their nationality and their historical ancestry is Celtic (Gaelic). @Serb1anArchangel There is a reason why they are called Anglo-Saxons it also accounts for the fact that their language is not part of the LATIN family of human languages (Italian, Spanish, French, Romanian, Portuguese etc). From this perspective, we can assume that, while a few might have ''Roman DNA'' in their blood, most do not. They are Germanic/Celtic/Franc (primary sources of DNA) and later, endless wars contributed to that initial pool. Englishmen are NOT the descendents of the Romans.

@enis020, Paris Hilton could not survive one day in ancient Rome, sorry. For her character. the combination of both pretty woman and ruthless female power player is excellent. She apparently tried to kill Spartacus using this guy after taking him in bed, but forced Crixus to save Spartacus's life killing one of his fellow countrymen. She promised him fame , money & even eventually freedom apparently while in bed in echange for the life of Spartacus to clear the way for Crixon.
