I love the classical sounding addition to this. And the ecclesiastical setting. So fitting. Personally I don't like giving these things a number. I just enjoy it, or I don't. And this one I love.
I concur. Check out Geoff's solo Blackbird (Beatles) which falls into that category. Geoff also did Jack's Lament (Nightmare Before Christmas) is one of my top Geoff's.
This was Eli's first arrangement for VoicePlay. Looking through your videos, I see you haven't reacted to their covers of Hoist the Colours or Valhalla Calling? Those are both phenomenal.
In the timeline of VP, this video was after Earl left the group but before Cesar joined. So technically they were down one member. That said, though they have stated that they write/arrange songs for the voices they have, not the voices they want. A masterful piece overall.
Love this version. Great arrangement by Eli. Great vocals.🌹🕊

Eli did a fantastic arrangement. I like both the original and this cover. Thanks for the reaction!

You used the word perfect in your description at least twice and said that it was better than the original..... I think you should bump it to a 9.
