Im using shilajit for 6 days and so far my experience is the first 4 days it made me so extremely tired. But that is decreasing every day a bit more. I have low iron levels and now i have a warmer body thats positive. What i love the most so far i can’t get angry anymore, my head is so calm. I used to get angry very fast. I can sleep longer and better. Im not taking it on a empty stomach anymore cause that makes it hurt unfortunately.

      Hi there!
I've been taking it for two days now and I feel tired as you mentioned, is that normal?
And how do you feel now, are you still consuming shilajit

    • @hannahmulligan1103

I felt this way to! It made me unbelievably tired. I couldn't think straight and would need to take a nap for 2 hours.
What I found from reading is that it could be due to allergies or heavy metals. When I would boil the shilajit, I wouldn't feel tired after taking it which means it would be something in the product that is not heat stable. It could have been a reaction the fulvic acid or microbes.
You have to check the certificates for heavy metal testing. The product I bought actually did have lead over the limit. However, that wouldn't have been the cause of fatigue for bc it didn't occur after boiling the resin.

Here's why you must start slow:
i had some 5yr old shalajit in my fridge, it was hard so I added water and in one minute poured the brown [water + s halajit solution] into a dropper bottle. it was medium translucent brown, not opaque brown, so gives you idea of dilute-ness. ONE DROP and I felt weird like I had just had a shot of alcohol. I'm not a drinker but it was a dizzy 'high' feeling. GLAD I ONLY took the one drop. the taste in my mouth was of strong dirt-like flavor and it lasted a good half hour.

So some corrections regarding the word “Shila Jeet”.
The word shila means ROCK and Jeet means a WIN hence the meaning is “The one which conquers/prevails over a rock”.
So when it oozes out f the rocks, you have the origin literally in the name itself.

The dosing can be confusing, So from what I've found it written that a dose the size of a grain of rice is all you need. But I've seen some new advertisements that have a little metal stick that you dip into the resin that in my opinion pulls up a lot more of a dose. I wish there were more dose specific videos!! You shouldn't be taking any supplement unless you know how much is a dose! Some things are so strong that it's measured in micrograms. Of all the information that is shared, the dose is critical. No one wants to get sick or feel ill or overdose on vitamins or minerals
