  • Stop telegraphing punches in boxing so you will be able to punch faster and land more punches. Telegraphing is pulling or loading up your punches before throwing them. This gives you some more power into the punch but makes it unlikely to land or hit your opponent.

Video about boxers injuries, and how to avoid them. I had always problems with my lower back. Sometimes more, sometimes it's ok for a long time. And also my right elbow hurts. Im now 37 and I can take time off when i have to, but when i was young it was hard to skip training when got little pain here and there.

Correct. London alone has 3 accents .... in a way. Posh - Spoken by the Royal family and usually upperclass, Cockney - Which is what most london men sound like the “ You alright mate “ etc etc, and lastly Common - Which is spoken by people like Anthony Joshua , Myself , KSI , common is usually a mixture of slang and spoken by most people who come from the lower class areas , but the funny thing is , to people who arent from london all 3 of these sound posh and you can always find all of those accents in every type of area in london. Lastly , if you dont hear these 3 accents then they’re most likely not from london , People who arent from london actually sound more like irish and scottish because they just live closer to those countries , London/ England is at the bottom of the Great british map, and its Great britain afterall, we done alot of mixing during our history of war times

    • @jerrodlopes186

Very good breakdown and this is an important tip in boxing without doubt ive had to implement this in sparring when the dude was so quick at blocking I had to ask myself if I was telegraphing or being predictable. It was literally a case of taking out that tiny pull back exactly like this video explains and boom all my jabs starting getting through and infact worked out that you get a lot more snap from your jab and straight punches if you dont pull back. You soon realise that speed is power.
Wicked video man love if you could do more on head and body movement like you did on the bonus tip could just watch you hit the bag all day man 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥊

I learned something in one of your past videos, when it came to the lead hook to the body, I always knew when it was coming by the way my opponent slips to the outside then the lead hook to the body , so I figured my opponents would feel the same , so anyway I liked when you showed us a lead hook to the body, without dipping your head to the outside it was all hip rotation. And when I do that In sparring it was sneaky I was just being aware of my head in the air while my lead hand is punching the body. But I still slip to the outside to throw the lead hook sometimes too,0 I mix it up. There's also times where I will purposely telegraph another punch as a faint. But I think the importance of it is awareness as well.but I do 100percent agree with you and this video. I just wanted to share that. Thank you for all you do I appreciate you God bless bro

I'm 27 and just bought a bag. I have never boxed and I probably never will but I want to make sure while I exercise I'm doing it correctly and dont look like an idiot with bad habits. Thanks coach.

Could you make a video on how to throw the perfect left hook or just a hook in general without any telegraph, power and speed.
Keep up with the content can’t miss a Tony Jeffries video 👍

Thanks so much, these are so great tips. I have heard someone said throwing a hook required to fully extend the chest before punches, such as throwing the right hook, it needs to twist the body to the left before throwing a hook. Does it a telegraphing punch regarding this?

If this UA-cam channel were a set of instructional DVDs in the 2000s, they would've cost hundreds of dollars. This is quality stuff. DROP THEM LIKES people, it's the least you can do 😂
