  • This is the Boulder Mountain Trail which is part of the Mount Antero Trail Network near St. Elmo and Buena Vista Colorado. A great 4x4 or Jeep trail for smaller offroad vehicles like stock wranglers and renegades. Our Mount Antero Trail Guide shows you where to turn for this trail.
    Channel Info:
    My name is Dewie Jones and I’m the reluctant host, videographer, and video editor for the channel. I’ve daily driven a wrangler my entire driving life starting with a 1997 TJ and now I’m in a nine year old 2012 JK. I like the challenge of driving a stock wrangler on tough trails. My buds are not new to wheeling either, but for their own specific reasons, now wheel aggressive SUV based off-roaders like KL Cherokees, 4Runners, and Renegades. We decided Colorado Mallcrawlers was a funny name so that's how we got here.
    For trail planning, I use the Funtreks Books (amazon search: Funtreks books). I have the current editions of the Colorado books and Moab. I finish up my trail planning with trails offroad as they can sometimes have more detail as well as user submitted current conditions feedback. I’m testing GPS apps and currently don’t use one. Here’s my video that tells you how I do it. • Find off-road trails t...

      Agree, but the goal is to be good enough where you don’t notice the music when it’s there. Wind is a big issue when filming trail guides. Thanks for the encouragement and for watching!

    Glad I found your' channel. I Will never have a rig like a lot of the other channels out there. But you are showing what a lot of people bought Jeeps for, to get out out and enjoy nature. Now yes I have a 2" lift. Installed a bumper with a winch. Once my tires need to be replaced will go from 33" KO2 to 35" MT not sure if KM3's or the Kendras??? Anyway I hope you get a lot more subscribers.

    • @coloradomallcrawlers
      @coloradomallcrawlers  4 роки тому

      Yeah, I like making them all, but the shorter ones are easier to edit... the 15 minute plus ones are a bit stressful to edit as my attention span isn’t great and if I’m getting bored, I feel I’m really boring others. Still, those are the main ones we will continue to make. I can’t wait till you do also!

    • @Anthony_Adventures

      @@coloradomallcrawlers ya I get that you can also use your average view time to see when most of your views start to die off in videos and make videos more around that length. Because it is hard for a lot of people to sit around and watch 15 plus min videos and not either get board or distracted or just not have that much free time. But either way I enjoy whatever you got to post my guy. Same I am still putting some break in miles on the XJ and just making sure I trust it lol. But then it also sucks that most of the trails in NoCo are up in flames right now

      Uphill has the right of way, but the general code is whoever has the easiest/shortest path should try to make room to pass. It’s tough on this trail, but there’s spots. However, it could be a lot of backing up for someone. So the key is keeping your group together and if you are coming down, look below to see if anyone is coming up. Thanks for watching these!
