The ergonomics actually look really really good on that. Chip is far too outdated now, and can't speak to the working quality of the controls, needs analog triggers as well. But the layout and screen size is great.
yep, I used to love going to pic n save when I was a kid... Id walk there and check out the cheap toys and snacks lol. They changed to Big Lots a long time ago... doesn't really have the same vibe as it did in the 90's though.
Taki posted a Community post a couple of weeks ago showing that he'd got "Half Life" running on the E6. I assume that means it should be possible to get out of that launcher and use it as a regular Android device. Would M64FZ work better than whatever emulator they're using now for N64?
Hello can some one help me please I just clicked on factory reset by mistake So the list's of games become empty no games But the sd card still ROMs inside I don't understand this problem
Late to the party . I just received my version of this handheld console called the XGO A500. Similar build and layout except my UI layout is a little different than the one yours. I noticed you were having problems with your button configuration on my version, its small button located above the select button . Im a little nervous about adding games to my version because my previous handheld bricked .
I like it.. Its certainly a cheap entry level device that looks good.. It strikes me that some people wouldn't be impressed if it was going for 5-Bucks with a free Big Mac.. Especially when you consider that this is going for waay more than 50-bucks in Europe.. Good review..👍👍🎮
Design wise it looks okay but the default UI and stuff are just too janky. The lack of option for aspect ratio, framerates, regions, filters, and button mapping are also disappointing. I probably would not bother with this unless a custom firmware exist or if I could get it super cheap for like $20 or under.
If it had a decent linux build on it, and if it drops to $40'ish, I'd say it is a good value. Maybe they will sell a version without the crappy controllers and shave off a few bucks.
Ow and some ofnthem have an hdmi port... Visible also in the pictures and in some other youtube video... Seems they are shooting out prototypes while they decide the final design
If this did NDS i''d be willing to bite the 50$ bullet and give it a go. Disappointing. But given that its running android, its possible to customize such inconveniences away should someone care enough.
This thing seem (much less than) half baked... If you ask me they have put out some oieces for sale to finance what is still in actual development... The listing that are around dont even agree on the onstalled SoC... I found a couple that list rk3566 and others rk3326? And software looks like an alpha rel. Could be nice with a good FW and the rk3566, though

A Soulja Boy Deck
Haha Soulja Deck!!! 😂

Since it's android wondering how easy it would be to get out of their launcher and setup your own frontend and emulators
Probably not worth it for the build quality. May be better of just getting a better device for not much more.
The design of the device is realy nice. It would be great to see that design on a powerful android handheld.
I’ll never get why these companies over complicate things, a simple rubber cross style d-pad would suffice.
That is always on purpose. They always include drawbacks so they can release an improved version later on and make even more money.
Thanks for the heads up.
The ZPG Bubble and the ZPG A1 Unicorn is what I'm waiting for. 😊
DUDE, you brought me back to my childhood by name dropping Pic 'N' Save. If I'm not mistaken, it's Big Lots now...
yep, I used to love going to pic n save when I was a kid... Id walk there and check out the cheap toys and snacks lol. They changed to Big Lots a long time ago... doesn't really have the same vibe as it did in the 90's though.
@@Madlittlepixel Agreed.
@@MadlittlepixelI like when you say boo boo. Ain't heard that in forever.
A modded PSP is a better emulation handheld than that and the PSP came out in 2005, 19 years ago.
Emulation was precisely the reason I bought a PSP 3000 back in 2016. Only emulation machine I have is my modded Wii.
@@KamenRiderGumo I also have a modded Wii, it was a great little console for emulation!
I agree 💯
Well it's Sony so ofc the quality is going to be better

If they had some settings I could fix stuff with.. id but one for 50 or 60. Like the screen size, not to big... not ridiculously small
Looks like this would need a new OS and some configurability. Not a fan of 16:9 displays on retro devices though.
They've ripped procrastinator Sam's log on that console

I don't understand this problem
otg headphones compatible?

I love that handhelds now are making psp emulation look so easy. lols
Not bad for the price! Does it have 5G wifi? Could be a decent moonlight handheld
I like it..

Reminds me of a Steam Deck
…I’ll wait till this shows up at Big Lots stores.
You said PIC N SAVE!!! are you from western PA?
That dpad looks awful. Might as well have put a slide on it like a nes max. 😅
Does it have Gran Turismo 1 and 2 ?
I wonder how other Linux builds would be on this.
Are any of these any good?
Smash it bro! 😂😂😂

Will it boom?
Can you copy the vpsp and vpsx folder and upload it to google drive for me? I lost it
For the ps1 games, if you have it, try star wars: jedi power battles. My bro has one of the kinhank systems, and it can't run it.
@madlittlepixel you are missing behind in the last few months..where is your video about Qanba 2009 and Unico NovaBlast?
Revisit this handheld. It got amberelec build now.
Can you connect a wired controller to it?
Does it come with all of the games when you buy the system
Ah, the thumbnail had me thinking it was a new steam deck model. Maybe one day I can learn to read.
It got me too man 😅
Poor mans Steam Deck
Poor man’s it’s not even able to sit in the steam decks shadow lol
The design reminds me on one of the steam deck prototypes
Thanks M.L.P.
Begging companies to stop trying to make dish d-pads happen

Damn busted out Pic N Save
Big screen. They got that right
Clicky sticks are hard to make
it's $70 for the 128gb model, not $50.
Is this portable?????
The design is fire but the fact it doesn't emulate ps2 and gamecube is a hard miss
I'd spend more money on something that actually works. I'm going straight for that RP4pro
If it was $49.50 cheaper and I was clinically senile yes would definitely peek my interest.
Not impressed.
It’s a fail these handhelds don’t run GameCube perfectly
The E6 Plus is the better Model. However if you're sick of RK3566 devices I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Ropchi ka rapta
Looks like a knock off ROG Ally
I am tired of this handhelds. They must make one good handheld not doznes of the same with different shells.
They do but you need to spend much more than $49.99......you get what you pay for!!!
Oof, I would go ahead and just say N64 is a no go on this device. That’s bad. 😆
If this did NDS i''d be willing to bite the 50$ bullet and give it a go.
Disappointing.
But given that its running android, its possible to customize such inconveniences away should someone care enough.
60$ !!! not bad ....
It's gonna be a "no" for me dawg.
Mom, can i have a steam deck?
“We have a steam deck at home”
Steam deck at home:
LMAO
No turbografx equals instant fail
Why would you pay 50 for this.. when you can pay a little more.. and get so much more..
Dunno man, I don't think I'd buy this. Other decks that were double the price were better
Games not in alphabetical order= No purchase
Hi❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Can use headphone?
Thanks 🎉🎉🎉
Hello thank you
Asbestos insert 🤣 😂
This needs Ark OS
This not steam deck its vapor deck
Bernier Road
i wouldn't trust that thing with N64 games because of how bad the games are running on that thing
For 50 dollars if it could play psp it would be okay

I think the interface kinda sucks
This handheld has exactly the same design as the steam deck
so another "you get what you pay for" eh?
Junk
Looks gash
*Throws into the trash can named "E-Waste"* 😅
That is the cheapest emulation device I ever seen
