For real,i just bought the legendary edition on ps4 its pretty addicting,its a small crowd but i will take it, love the game,i got mkx ,mk11,tekken 7 and Guilty gear xrd rev 2 to keep me busy,i also have dragonball fighterz and sf5 but ive stopped playing those 2 games that have two totally different extremes.
Yeah, diversity in the top 8 is nice to see after so much Unhype MK11 tourneys. Looking forward to I3 now.
I literally would watch the whole 8 hr tournament. Mk is to slow and block being a button is dumb. This game shouldve had another dlc at least

Wow, was this one of the best tournaments for Injustice? Just started watching videos tonight and this was a nail biter the whole way through.
It absolutely was, though Combo Breaker 2018 and Summer Jam 2017 are also among my favourites - this one had too many classics sets though.
I am so happy tweedy lost. Using a brain dead character that always depends on chip.

When you beat a good zoner you gotta pop off no matter what
Zoning isn't inherently bad it's just that the stages are so huge that it's an epic poem to get over to someone. In Street fighter there's the dynamic where if you're zoning from the opposite side of the screen your projectiles take so long to get there that they can be dodged. And once you do their back was to the wall so they are in bad situation.
i always saw it as only incredibly good players can overcome zoning but yet it was so easy to do, so someone who isnt that great can be competitive against some of the best, and if youre only an average player against a zoner you are completely fucked so..... good player can beat every zoner but average player can beat any zoner, because zoning diesnt have that high of a ceiling but it was insanely easy to pickup

Correction. Sonic's cold is good against rush down characters. No one else does shit with the character.
@@MK0437 I dont play in pros but when I use captain cold I do well against rushdown. The trick is getting the momentum started, after that the game is in your control

Sorry Hayatei I respect but don’t agree with the characters speciality mentality with this game (works for MKX tho). Those games looked way too polarized and counter picking is very strong in this game.
Lewis Lawrence I mean you can’t be a specialist and drop easy stuff...if you know the ins and out of every aspect of a character you can overcome an unfavorable matchup...but you can’t mess up on stuff you do every match

"Chip" damage is why Injustice 2 sucks ass. "Zoning" is the other reason, and when their powers combine you get cancer.

@@Michael-nx4qi I didn't like it in those games either. It's more noticeable in Injustice because there are so many damn projectile users that can kill you through your blocking with relative ease. Chip + Zoning = cancer.
@@Michael-nx4qi spamming abilities is incredibly prominent in pro play because that's the only neutral this game has. It's garbage. MKX is 10x more fun to watch because mix-ups and cross-ups and everything that a typical fighting game has is so prominently well-done in that game. Different combos, and different ways to burn meter. This game is all the same combo over and over and over. Same confirm same combo it's so damn boring

You know these players are considered the best in the world. With that being said they all use the same core characters over and over and. I can respect sunfox because he actively plays with different characters depending on the situation. Everyone else has tunnel vision because it can only use one or two top tier characters. Nuff said

Just noticed that Hellboy's stone hands just swaps. Not sure if developers were lazy or that it would have cost too much to make variants of all the moves for each side.
It's a bit of both, I've heard somewhere that even if they wanted to change that in an update they would have to start from 0. It's a lot of math to fix

Are you serious about that? :D Starfire is one of the few characters that has to play balls deep even with zoning, because she has to charge her bar and everything but her laser is close spells and you have to have kinda same playstyle like every other normal character in this game has. And he wasnt even zoning, he was playing super offensive even though he didn´t have to, he could just abuse laser.
