This is just what I have been looking for - simple straightforrward pattern for tissue and antibacterial, and great video instructions! I will let you know when I have made it.
Glad it was helpful! They are very nice sellers at craft shows and my friends and family really like them. Just an all-around fun thing to make. So happy you enjoyed the video--happy sewing!
Thank you for the nice tutorial and ideas! I'm making Valentine gifts for nurses and expectant mothers who are on bed-rest at the hospital where my sister is -- and had gotten those exact tissues and hand sanitizers, as well as chapsticks and small tubes of hand lotions -- so this will be the perfect addition to "cutesy it up"! I really appreciate you sharing this! God bless!
I have watched a lot of these, and yours is the best, you have room to put a Chapstick in the front. How much do you sell them for? Thank You for Sharing your Time, and Your Talent with all of us.
that is just so nice of you to say--really appreciate the comment. As for the price, off the top of my head, I'm selling for less than $10. You know...it really depends on where you live and what your community will spend. My community (probably like yours) would prefer a 'couture'-like style and quality at a bargain basement price. No surprise there. Pricing is always the big question, that and do people see the value and need for your crafts? I find that if my creations are really pretty, well made and very thoughtful and needed, then I have a chance at success.
The design is a bit similar to an 'envelope flap' type pillow. when you spread open the pretty front, you slide in the tissue package. Hope this helps. Other youtube videos on this will also perhaps help in showing you how to put the tissue package inside.
I think this is a great DIY. I folded the pocket piece down the 1/2 inch twice (so 1 inch). When placing the pocket piece on the outer piece and measuring down an inch and a 1/4, this leaves an 1/4 inch on the bottom. How are you able to line up the bottom? Do I just cut that 1/4 inch off?
What a great idea to put hand sanitizer and a tissue packet together !

Do you clip those corners after you sew them to reduce bulk
How does the tissue pack go in?
