As soon as I saw Jessica and Idris were in this I had to watch it, plus any film about a woman getting the upper hand on men or a man, I am all for, This film shows men up for what they are, egotistical, and all about themselves, and where they see a woman's place in this world, what she did took balls, intelligence, determination and control, she actually used men's attributes to profit herself, kept secrets, had to play a role to keep the whole thing going, and she gave nobody up, that's class On another note, when I was a teen me and my friends used to have a card night every week where we played different games including poker, it was more for fun and the socialness of it and nobody fell out, and we only bet what we could afford to lose, at the end of the night one of my friends suggested we play one card turnover, whoever turned the highest card could win back everything they lost, or lose everything you won, totally mad
Great movie. Very good job of getting it exactly like it happened. I would probably had a crush on Molly too. I have been widowed since 1986 and me and everyone wonders why I never remarried and I have had amazing girlfriends, never a bad girlfriend. I had an amazing gorgeous wife. I thought after seeing the movie, the reason I never remarried is because I never met Molly
There are these leitmotives that keep creeping up in the dialogue, or throughout the whole film...characters bringing up things they had talked about before sort of "out of the blue"...a little funny to refer to The Crucible there...the way the present the clip in there one might not be aware that they later acknowledge she's quoting The Crucible...
What a humble guy. He definitely choose the right person to play Molly. Jessica Chastain is amazing!
Such a good movie!! One of the best I’ve seen in years. Fascinating.
Brilliant and humble on a level not many can achieve!

I wish we knew who the two Jersey boys were that had Molly beaten, and who player X REALLY was--not just assumptions.
Been verified by Molly that it is Spider Man....Google and u will find links to the interview....
There is a quote in the movie where Player X says "I just want to destroy lives." In her book she quotes Maguire saying almost the exact same thing.
