Just watched Molly's Game tonight. Fantastic film! Not only is he an excellent writer but he's a great director too! Taking his Masterclass now, it's fantastic.
Wonderful man... so talented and down to earth. I'd love to buy him a pint one day. Also very pleased that he decided to put aside his fear and risk and trying his hand at directing. It's a good movie. Bet he kicks himself from time to time and wishes he'd done it sooner.
I LOVE your DP/30 series of interviews. I happened to watch this interview before I watch the film so I felt like having a ton of fun watching the film while having a master class with Aaron as his words here were still fresh in my head yesterday morning in the theatre! Thanks again!
The most inspiring exciting interesting interview I have ever seen. Made me want to make a film now! And I have pretty much never heard of him before watching this! And I loved the way he talked about the human relationship aspect to filmmaking. Thank you.
the visual backdrop of your presentation of this talking head is supreme (= Kandinsky & Klee - for a couple of years linked to an activity called Bauhaus - would have applauded ) ...
My GOD Aaron Sorkin uses the verbal pause in the form of "UH" more than any other professional in Hollywood history. Not really but my lord does he use and then use some more.....the word "UH" and sometines the triple "UH UH UH" It's shocking someone in his position would speak like this is head scratching!
Best cold open yet lol
I hardly remember what life was like before I discovered these interviews. Incredibly engaging and insightful. Thank you. You’re great.
Me too, I'm a HUGE fan of #DP30 in all it's cinematic glory. Grateful.

Saw Molly's Game tonight. an incredible film.
In my opinion your's and the Hollywood Reporter's are the most interesting interviews to watch on UA-cam.

Aaron Sorking is sweating and really hyper.....wonder whats going on with him...too much coffee....
Here's my guess: Sweating because of the lights. Hyper because that's his personality. And probably coffee.
Sorkin's worst film
